Hi Guys,
I had my interview on 11/06/18 - i passed.
But my IO gave me a form N-652 which shows a decision cannot be made yet, USCIS will send you a written decision about your application.

Im so nervous and restless, i don`t know what to do...

Has anyone any idea or any advise for me?
Or has anyone any idea why it takes so long, or what can be a reason of decision cannot be made?
Thanks in advance

I would like to start by thanking everyone on this forum. you all have been a voice of peace to quiet the turmoil. I think it is important that I contribute as I represent a unique group. I opted to pay my taxes as a payment plan and not the entire sum. I have no idea why I did this but as you can imagine i regretted it as soon as it was time to interview. This proved to not be a problem at all. It was clear that the payments were coming out monthly and the IO did not ask any questions on this. I have since paid this off but the point is Do not worry. My decision was made immediately and my oath was less than a month later.

I do not know what is making you restless about your case but take a deep breath and let it be an issue when it actually is an issue. I am happy to be an American I will continue coming back to the page for support. I wish you the best. Also the Best advice I got here is to pray for your IO. Thank you again

Dallas FO Naturalization Ceremony
I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this forum, especially the participants from the Dallas FO.
I attended the naturalization ceremony on Monday, December 10, 2018. We were 110 from 43 different countries. It was a solemn ceremony and very emotional for me. It is a long process, especially for those of us who didn’t file online but, it was so worth it.

Here is my timeline.
PD: August 2, 2017
FP: Early September 2017
In line for the interview: September 18, 2017
Interview scheduled: October 3, 2018
Interview: November 7, 2018 ( Decision: Recommended for approval)
Oath ceremony scheduled notice: November 27, 2018
Oath Ceremony:December 10, 2018!!!!!!!!!

Hang in there, this too shall pass!

Passport
Hi
I applied for expedited passport one day after oath ceremoney.
I was called from USCIS/DHS that they dont have my N 550 naturalization paper ..So they requested to send them a copy of naturalization paper by mail or hand in.
Please have a copy of naturalization paper before passport applying.

I applied for citizenship more than one year ago and made requests for info after considerable delay from immigration office. I Provided all of the requested docs. Lately I made info request on USCIS Web and I verified soon after the case status and its says:
"We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice for Receipt Number ioe **** **** **** **, with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony. You should receive your notice within 30 days of its mailing date".

1) Does it really mean that my N400 application has been definitely approved after interview and wait time?
2) Will the 30 day mailing period start with posting of this message?
3) Usually, how long to wait for the oath ceremony letter in such circumstances?
4) Will it be administrative or judicial oath ceremony considering the delay in adjudication?

Your input and explanations much appreciated.

Houston n400 process
Hi all,

This forum was very helpful to me so I thought to share the issues I had.

PD 08/16/17
FP 09/18/17
Interview notice 10/05/18
Interview- 11/13/18

At the interview, the I.O couldn't make a decision for my sister and I (we had different I.O). I had been out of the country for 182 days, 183 days on two occasions and my sister has been out for 9months ( she was in high school abroad). My other sister had no issues and was recommended for the ceremony immediately.

Prayer works guys. When I got home, I prayed like never before, I fasted and promised Jesus I'll tell all of how he showed my sister and I favor because I wasn't prepared to apply again, get a lawyer or go through this process AGAIN! I kept on professing positive declarations specifically Mark 11:24 "Therefore I tell you whatever you ask in prayer, believe you have received it, and it will be yours"

On 11/27 my sister and I got our letter. Our oath ceremony was on 12/12/18. My sister who was previously congratulated at her interview is yet to receive her letter but we aren't bothered because she's already been congratulated. Have faith!
