Ok i just decided to add to the frustrations all over this website.
I am a june filer and its been 10 long **** months and still no interview. I went for an info pass this morning and was told that am in line for interview while my online status shows fingerprints. I asked the pleasant lady why my status isnt updated and she said online status is just not the best, we been having lots of issues with the webside. Its just crazy how they cant even fix a damn website and put updates for their customers. God knows how long my case is been sitting like that with no update and how long it will sit in one lazy government employe s desk. It drives me crazy to think about that. I put all my plans on hold.
The best part was when she told me the processing went up from 10months to a year so she said i might expect an interview and maybe add few more weeks for oath so basically 5 more months which will put me at a year and 3months until i finish tge whole process. Just beyond uncomprehensible and so damn excrutiating for us.
GOD HELP US.

USCIS received case - Oct 4th 2016
Biometrics appointment - Nov 3rd 2016
In line for interview notification - Nov 7th 2016
Interview scheduled - Apr 18th 2017
Anyone know how long it will take to receive the letter and also the interview date? What about oath ceremony - is it on the same day as interview date? And do you receive the passport on the same day? How long does this take?

No interview or progress in case after that.
Called customer service and talked to tier 2 agent and was told that the case is still at NBC pending background check but an SR was opened. I am really lost on what I can do It is almost an year. :(

New Timeline
Uscis processing time has been updated today and it only moved up 15 days only for Houston TX. Before it was May 15th last month and now it May 31 2016. This is insane the speed they are going seems like it will be year and half wait to process the complete the application. I think I need to stop looking at the site anymore and just forget that I have applied for citizenship my application will complete 8 months today without any update after fingerprints.

01/10/17 - They received my application
01/31/17 - Fingerprint
02/22/17 - Change the status to "In Line for Interview"
04/11/17 - Change the status to "Interview was Scheduled"
05/16/17 - Interview Date
Almost done! Just keep your faith to God like what I did. I was really surprised that my processing time was fast! I know God did this! :) Goodluck and God bless to you all!
