b2 visa for housewife and infant daughter
Hello All,
Thanks for this forum and to everyone who share there experiences...
Today had my interview for b2 visa and its approved....hardly the interview took for 5 mins or less than tht...many told that my chances of geting visa is less since i'm a post graduate but i'm a house wife...but luckily i got it....the following questions were asked..
Q.what is the purpose of travel?
Q.which place you are going?
Q.any relatives there?
Q.what they are doing there?
Q.what is my husband doing?
Q.what is my husband salary?
Q.have you traveled to USA before?
Q.have you traveled any where outside?
Q.how long you will stay there?

thts alllll the visa officer lady said your visa is approved. :-)

note:- when i was waiting for the interview seen few happy faces after approval and few sad faces after visa rejection...i was worried what will happen even though some kind of fear was there answered all the questions ..
i think the key is prepare well with sample questions and be prepared with your documents that gives some kind of confident..even though i carried all documents officer didn't ask for any..
and last but not least DS-160 ..remember everything in ds-160 application...

hope this helps some one....
all the best :-)

Hello ,
I am currently on h4 visa and we tried for my maternal uncle b2 visa at mumbai consulate which got approved.
He is single , 42 yrs old, in job since 15 years...the following questions were asked....
Q. Where are you from?
Q. Where are your parents living?
Q. What did they do before retirement?
Q. Whom are you traveling with?
Q. What is your niece doing?
Q. What is her husband doing?
...then the lady vo officer said your visa is approved.
Few things to consider...your presentation matters the most....how well are you dressed and how confidently can you answer the questions...

B2 visa sponsored by Boss but...have been in the USA (illegally) as a child!!!
I was born in Mexico and I was taking to the united states when I was 1 year old with my mother and twin brother!
We lived in Colorado the whole time, I turned 18 on April 15 Graduated High School on May 8 and Left the united states May 10th, As I chose to come back to my birth country to continue my life. Here (MX) I started university, Started working For Real Estate Company as the Office Manager/ Customer Liaison as well as Sales agent.
I Have two children! ........
Now my boss is in need of someone to be able to travel to Arizona to be able to attend Staff meetings and sale closings of her own Real Estate company as she gets vey sick and cannot travel!
I have been her personal sales assistant, Go with her every were in Mexico. All expenses will be on her and the Real Estate company in Arizona.
We are wondering if the reason that i lived in the US as a minor will affect me. I know I don't have many ties down to my birth place...just all family, My children, school and job! and I also know that I left within the time they give you after turning 18 to be able to leave the country and not get banned from entry again!
WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK! WORTH GIVING A SHOT I THINK!

B1/B2 visa Help
My mother is over 80 years old in China and she is eligible to apply for B1/ B2 visa without an interview. I don't want her to travel alone since she is old, so I will accompany her to the U.S. for a couple of months. Do I have to apply for my own separate visa? Will I be scheduled an interview?
my mother mentioned me in her Ds160 form. Do I need to fill out my own Ds160? Will they make my mother to go to an interview just because I need to show?
