Visitor Visa Granted.
I along with my husband went for the US visitor visa interview on Friday, March 13, 2015 in Delhi. Just reach half an hour before the interview time, that’s more than enough. The whole process inside the Embassy completed in half an hour. Also for Delhi location, there is a facility available where mobile phones and keys etc can be deposited.
The interview went for around 3 minutes. We had all the documents but no document was checked. However, the documents give you a big morale booster.

Q: Where do you want to go in the US?
Q: Why you want to go?
Q: Are you both married?
Q: Where do you work? (Asked to both of us)
Q: Have you ever been to the US?
Q: Have you ever applied for the visa? (Study visa was rejected earlier)
Q: For how long you would like to go?
Q: Where else you would like to go?
Q: Where does your family stays?
Q: Any other relatives, friends in the US?

At last he mentioned, your visa has been approved, collect your passport in 2-3 days. We haven’t got to know till yet for how long we have got the visa.

Tip: Do practice the sample Q&A, twice a day for 3-4 days before the interview. No substitute for this. It really helps. Along with this, just be confident and share the facts.

All the best !!!!!!

We tried for my mom again in oct 2012 in Malaysian embassy but it got rejected. In all the three cases it was 214(b) rejection.

My parents do not have a property in India. My dad and mom are doing Business.

Currently they are settled in Malaysia for past two yrs.

My mom is 50 years old and dad is 56 years. both of them running business. they earn about 30,000 Malaysian ringgit per month( if we convert to indian rupee it is 50,000).

This time they are planning to sponsor them self. they are spending money themselfs. Their visa interview is booked for tomorrow.

Now they have all documents in hand.

both of them together they earn 30,000 mal ringgit per month

Bank statements ( they have 52,000 rinigt in bank)

All these documents is enough for them to show in the interview? I'm really worried and tensed. PLease can you help me?

b2 visa for sister
I am planning to apply visitor visa for my older sister who is unmarried and unemployed. I have applied 3 times for her in the past (the last one was 7 years ago) and it was rejected all three times. I have not met my sister since a long time and I wanted to invite her to visit me and my family. She currently takes care of my mother in India. My mother already holds a US visitor visa.

My question is - Should I apply for her visa and call her alone or with my mother? What would prove better as her ties to the country?

Thank you in advance.
