Grand mother's Visa rejected Twice
Can any one of you tell me about what are all documents needs to be sent for re-applying B2 visa. Consulate officer asked only one question it seems.

1. How many children you have?
She answered so and so.. then they gave her a paper saying you are not eligible for non-immigrant visa under section 214b.

I am not able to guess what could be the reason, this happened twice.

I really appreciate if anybody can suggest me about what documents needs to be sent next time.

Just to add that the consulate doesn't provide translators on Mondays either. So mondays & fridays no translators. You have to have a regional language appointment to have a translator

Visitor Visa
My parents too had appointment on sep 24th (friday) at chennai consulate. They did have a translator.
The foll are the ques asked to my parents

1. Why do you want to go to US?
Visit my daughter and see a few places

2. (to my father). why didnt you go to US last time(He got a visa last time but didnt come)
I had an emergency problem with my business. Hence could'nt go

3. What business do you do and what is the name of your company
     YYYY

4. Does your daughter work?
    Yes.

5. How many children do you have
    3

6. Does the daughter you are visiting have any Children
    No

Their visa was approved and they have got 10 year visa

There were almost 5-6 rejects that day. My parents were very scared but all they did was told the truth and were confident while answering.
One important point to be noted is the documents that are sent needs to be perfect and also our parents need to talk the truth and be confident. I guess that is all required during the interview
