Hi, My B1 Visa was rejected mentioning that i did not demonstrate a strong case of the B1 Visa Category though i had a Client Letter.
Now Seperately, I want to apply for B2 Visitor Visa to Visit my Brother. I want to know that my previous B1 Rejection would impact the B2 Visa or does it not impact.

applying for tourist visa as a couple
hi we are filipinos leaving in UAE for 4 years now.
We are nurses by profession and my wife is working in a government hospital for 4 years
I recently resigned from my work because I am have a job offer from another government hospital but it will take several months to complete. (was informed thru email)
while waiting for my job, we are planning to have our anniversary in the US. we both have sisters leaving there.
we have substantial income and my family owns a truck sales company back in the philippines.
is it worth a shot or we'll just waste our money since I am currently unemployed? need some advice thanks in advance.

Hello. How are you all ? Hope will fine. I want to share my B1 B2 Visa interview experience. I applied with two of my dependents. My interview was very short. I was going to US to join an event which was related to my illness. I'm facing from Obsessive Compulsive disorder. I was invited by Community support specialist at International OCD Foundation. My interview was like this
V.O- Why are you going to US ?
Me- To join an Event.
V.O- What event ?
Me-OCD Awareness Week at International OCD foundation.
V.O-Do you have any known at US ?
Me- No, I don't know anyone in US.
V.O- Sorry I can't give you visa.
Me- Thank you so much.
Now I'm applying again. I have scheduled appointment. This time i am applying again. Please guide me what should be my strategies.My profile is as given below.

My parents visa was approved. The forum has been extremely helpful. Here' the questions posed:
1. Why do you want to travel to USA?
2. What is the visa status of your child?
3. How many children you have?
4. What does your other child do?
5. For how long you want to go to USA?
6. What do you do?
7. How much do you earn?
8. Who is going to sponsor your travel?
9. Do you have any grand children in USA?
10. When was the last time you met your son?

Their interview lasted 8-10 minutes!

Please help: Applying for tourist visa for parents

My parents = 10 year B1B2 visa
During my parents last visit they first visited my brother in Alberta, Canada ( my brother is a canadian citizen)
My brother, his friend (canadian) and my parents drove to Yellowstone
At the US -Canada border my brothers friend was denied entry into the US. The border patrol agent told my brother and parents that they could proceed into the US.
How could they? They all turned back because they obviously couldn't leave one guy to go back on foot!

Fast forward two years.
parents B1/B2 expired in 2016. I am applying for a new B1B2 visa.
In the visa application form in the section asking about previous travel to the USA how can I enter this information?
Their passports weren't stamped .

i got my interview on the way for the next month september and on my formed i filed that my INTENDED ARRIVAL for january 10, but the appointement interview was for september
did the consular wii wondering why im going to leave on 10th of january while the visa was already counting 3months
my point and question is that, how month visa did consular granted for someone first time to had US visa for tourism?
can someone tell me here is a year or month visa granted for tourist?

Hello Everyone
I had applied for a Tourist Visa way back in 2001 , was denied with the reason "you are single, please try again when you are not single" was 29 then.
Now am planning to visit on the invitation of my Uncle (mother's brother) along with my mother and her sister (senior citizens) . Have my own business for last 18 years earning around 150000 per month. Have a wife & 3 kids who are not travelling due to schooling. My father is not travelling as he hates travelling. my uncle has sent in all the sponsorship papers.
Am an Industrial Engineer by Education and Hotelier by Profession.
Just want to ask what are my chances of getting the visa.
We are competent enough to finance our trip but will the sponsorship help.
