05/14/18 - Interview. Went well, the officer said that I will receive my VISA in a week or two after handing me 221g white slip. He kept my passport. DS-2019 was signed and returned.
05/16/18 - Sent the documents.
At this point - Case created 11 May, Case Last updated 14 May

Sent many mails to [email protected] for any status update. No help from them just standard responses.

Internship starts on 18th June.

Finally after a month of painful processing
Case last updated changed - 15th June around 8:30am IST
Case update - 15th June around 1pm to "Issued"
Track my passport - updated at around 4pm, 15th June to "Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery".

Passport received through premium delivery on 16th June.
Advice to fellow 221G candidates - Never lose hope. Keep bugging [email protected]. Explain them your urgency.

Hello everyone,
I went for visa interview with my spouse as dependent. The officer asked about specialized skills and while I was explaining it officer picked up 'network security'. He then asked for resume. Took both the passports and handed over 221(g) slip saying 'you guys are all set and we need to do extra processing'. He did not ask a single question to my spouse nor the marriage certificate was asked. I was confused so I asked for time it will take, he said asked to checking status with the case number.
I researched meanwhile and I have a feeling that this is due to TAL. Has anyone faced this?

Appeared for H1b Visa interview on 21st feb 2018.
VO asked general questions like the purpose of travel, client name, roles and responsibility, highest qualification etc. Then he asked about my travel to US and Syria (I have never traveled to these places). Handed back my passport with 221(G) green slip marked with admin processing.
22 Feb --> Status updated as Admin processing with case created and updated dates as 20th Feb and 21st Feb respectively.
22 Feb --> Received email from [email protected] to submit a questionnaire regarding past 15 years travel history, social media handles, addresses and phone numbers etc in a word doc.
23 Feb --> replied with my responses.
No updates since then.

VO asked me to wait for 20 minutes and received 221g - blue slip.
It was mentioned as 'Your application was refused under administrative processing. The application will be reconsidered
when administrative processing is complete.
