18th August 2021: Visa accepted and passport kept for printing at Mumbai Consulate. 20th August 2021: Mail received stating Visa Under Administrative Processing, Told to fill DS5535 form, filled and reverted back the same day itself and received an automated response stating you will be contacted. 23th August 2021: Passport returned back with a white slip stating that visa under administrative processing and you will be contacted via email. 21st September 2021 : Received a mail stating that administrative processing complete, submit passport with I-20, 221g white slip, 221g submission slip and print of the email received 22nd September : Status changed to Administrative Processing 23rd September : Status Changed to Issued 24th September : Passport Received with Visa Stamp for 5 years.

Received a mail on 26th August to submit passport at VFS/VAC office. In addition, was asked to add a one sentence description as to why the primary applicant physical presence is required in the United States on a separate piece of paper. So I added the company and designation details with one sentence on a white paper(not on company letter pad). Submitted the passport and document on 30th August at Bangalore VFS office. Status changed to AP from refused on Sep 1st. How long would it take for the process completion ?

Had L1b blanket visa interview on 17th aug 2021, VO gave yellow slip with administrative processing checked. No documentes asked, passport retained by VO Still waiting for the update on the case. 10th september 2021 - ceac website case status updated to Administration processing from Refused 13th september 2021 - ceac visa status changed to issued 15th september 2021 - passport received with visa

No documents requested during the interview. Same thing happened in 2018 Feb and it was cleared in 3 weeks during that time

Hi, I have received green slip last year during my h1 extension and now after appearing for interview I have got yellow slip. They are asking for detailed project description including technical project description, employer, timeline, current status, etc. Has someone submitted like this information earlier? What are chances of approval in such case? which kind of project will get better approval chance?

Asked so many questions and Looked at client letter, he said client let is back from april. and visa officer said he keeps the client letter with him and giving me 221g. He said what other documents required and they will contact in email if any other documents are needed

Interview for F1 Visa and F2 (husband and son) Visas on August 16. No documents were required during or after the interview. We were questioned about the number of entries to the US in the past (several as my husband studied in the US before and he attended academic conferences). Apart from this, a few inquiries concerning our jobs but nothing inquisitive. That was it. VO was polite and professional; he concluded the interview by saying that our visas had entered in a process called "Administrative Processing" and that it could take 15 days or more to conclude the process. Our status changed from "Refused" (standard status) to "Administrative Processing" on August 24 and from "Administrative Processing" to "issue" on August 30. Blessings to all!
