After 60 days of document submission, my employer sent email to HLProcessing and support asking for status(got standard template response back from support). After 10 days I sent email to HLProcessing and support, asking for status and describing my family situation (same standard response back from support but no reply HLProcessing).
Next day I got email from support to submit passport.
10 days after passport submission sent email to [email protected].
Next day Case Last updated date changed.
Next day status changed to Issued.
Passport delivered after 2 days.

Hi I work in EVVC model and previously was in F1 student and from oct moved to H1B. I attended interview on nov 27th and VO said my visa was approved but then when I went to collect my passport instead of stamping I saw 221g blue slip asking for additional docs. I submitted my additional docs on dec 12th and haven't heard anything since then. its been 2 months now, is there anything that I can do now? I don't have work from option as well and don't know how long I need to wait to get some decision. Any idea?

Hi I make my interview on 17-Aug-2017 after the interview the consult take all the document and the passport and gave me 221(g) blue slip without required any additional documents.
And until now the date was not update and still case last update was 17-Aug-2017 .Now it has been more than 90 days from date of interview and when i contact the consult they replay by email said that ( Administrative processing often lasts about 90 days, but in some instances, it can take significantly) .
2018/01/21 : Still no update on my case since date of interview.

Hi All,
I'm an unlucky with respect to H1B. After 4 years, successfully picked up in lottery for H1 (In US on H4 visa) and because of family emergency have to come to India and attended interview on Feb 9th 2018,
I work for a small employer (they have both consulting and product development). I work on their own Product.
This is my first H1b Stamping.
Questions asked by VO:
1. Salary
2. Inhouse project? Yes
3. Internal project?
4. Employer name and location?
5. Where do you work?
6. The existing visas I had (B1, H4)
7. Highest degree
8. Where is ur wife
My salary is 77k but its 75k in LCA. During the interview he aksed for LCA. At the end of the interview VO gave my white slip. After that
no documents asked from me.
Dont know what all these 221Gs are about. My wife and son are staying alone in US.
Since my salary is 2k more than that in lca, does it made VO to give 221G. Or the in-house project.?
Is anyone in same boat from h4 to h1?

I work in the EVVC model. I have been on H1B for 12+ years with the same employer. 5th time stamping. Previous 4 stamping experiences were very smooth.
23rd Oct 2017 : Dropbox at blr location for my H1 and my wife's H4
27th Oct : passports collected with 221g blue slip
Was asked to appear for interview along with a bunch of documents. Wife was not asked to appear.
4th Dec : interview. VO didn't ask many questions. Collected documents and made me wait for 30 minutes. He returned all the docs and passports with another 221g blue form with additional admin processing checked.
4th Dec : status update date changed to AP
20th Dec : Client company received the verification email from kccfpu
3rd Jan 2018 : Client replied
11th Jan : acknowledgement from USDoS
7th Feb : got an email to submit the passport at VAC and submitted today
8th Feb : case last updated. AP
9th Feb : ISSUED for Wife. Mine still says AP.
15th Feb : My case updated to ISSUED! Finally!!
16th Feb: Passports collected!Yay!
