attended an interview on Sept 4, VO just asked basic questions and took LCA and Client Letter and returned passport with 221g letter saying that requires administrative process before taking the final decision
After a month I got a call to attend an interview. I was attended 2nd Interview on Oct 3 and this interview is 2hr long, asked me to submit all paystubs and bank statements through email. Submitted through email.
I got a call(13th November ) to submit a recent client letter. I told that the client won’t issue a letter and only the vendor will issue the letters. They ask me to send a matter. Sent the same on .and case last updated date changed on 15th November.
returned all original documents on 22nd Nov where they collected from me during the interviews
Please help me to understand- what to expect next. Whenever I send an email to consulate I will get a standard reply.

I have attended H1 visa extension interview at HYD on Dec 11,2019.
Got 221(g) ,RO collected my passport and did not asked any documents . My 221g contain the following description
" your visa application has been refused under section 221(g) of the us immigration and nationality act(INA) .
Your application requires additioanl administrative processig before a final decision can be made .No visa shall be issued unless an application is complete ".
Please let me know how long it will take for visa approval.

Hi All,
I had my H1b interview on 29th of November at Hyderabad consulate and was told that there was some issue with my sevis and the VO took my client letter and LCA and had given me a 221g white slip and my passport was returned to me back. Later I checked my sevis and my STEM OPT was active. So I reached out my college DSO and opened a correction ticket and got it closed like 10 days back. Later, My client manager got an email from USCIS about his credibility to give the client letter and my roles and responsibilities. Today I got an email from US travel docs asking to collect my documents and my passport was not asked to submit and CEAC sites still shows my status as administrative processing. Does anyone know what this means?. Any response is really appreciated. Thanks

Hello, adding my case to the tracker.
22nd Oct : Dropbox
Received slip to attend an interview at the Mumbai Consulate.
29th Oct : Interview attended along with finger prints.
At the interview window, I was asked questions about my Masters in US, if it was my first H1b stamping or not, (its my second), asked me me about my role at the client, pay, etc.
At the end of the interview, i was handed back my passport along with 221g yellow slip asking for client letter, contract agreement between my employer and client (EVC model), job itinerary and project technical details.
7th Nov: Submitted all the Documents.
So far on CEAC website the case is under Admin Processing and last udpate date as 29th Oct (day of the interview)
26th Nov: On CEAC website the last update date got changed to 26th Nov and case still under Admin Processing.
Approved on 12th Dec.
