Hello all,
Mine was an EVM model, where the VO officer asked me the client letter and contract between the end client and my employer. My end client won’t provide client letter so I have submitted the email confirmation of the same from end client. There is no contract between my employer and client only had contract between the vendor and the end client which I have submitted.
On nov 07 my case status updated but still AP.
Received email from consulate on Nov 15 to submit the client letter but I have only the email confirmation from client and vendor letter that client don’t provide such letters. Soon my project is ending.
It’s being 2months pending. Does anyone have this type of situation and please give me your feedbacks

Below are the details of my visa processing
12-Sep-2019 : Submitted passport for dropbox at VFS location
16-Sep-2019 : I got my passport back with a 221g Blue slip . I was asked to attend in person intervie at US Consulate and to get following document with me
1. Client Letter, 2. W-2 form, 3. Two years of payslips 4. I-797/I-129 5. Project details
23-Sep-2019 : Attended interview at Chennai Consulate with all the required document. I got another 221g Blue Slip with no additional documents asked.
07-Nov-2019 : Got email from Chennai H&L to submit my passport for further processing
15-Nov-2019 : Got email from [email protected] to sumbit following documents
1. Employee invitation letter 2. Resume 3. Publication 4. Position 5. Funding 6. Tavel 7. Contact Information
I am not sure what is happening here, I have been waiting to hear back from Consulate with not much hope. Any idea on the situation here ? I have not see anyone face this.

29th Aug - submitted passport and docs to Mumbai consulate for visa stamping (dropbox)
30th Aug - received email to collect passport. It had green slip in which it was mentioned to appear for interview
6th Sep - went for interview, consulate officer gave yellow slip and asked to email 2 documents - the latest client letter and copy of contract between employer and client company
19th Sep - Emailed docs to consulate and received auto ack email about receipt of docs.
19th Oct and 22nd Nov - emailed consulate at support-india emailID for an update, but received a generic response.
No further update on CEAC site. Last case updated date shows up as 6th Sep, that is, my interview date.

After 90 days of my interview, received another 221g asked me to submit specific document but not passport . I submitted and since then when I track my passport is showing that “ Passport still with US embassy/Consulate” and even when login in website is showing same in Document delivery information. My question is I didn’t submit my passport, why the status showing “ Passport still with US embassy/Consulate “? Anyone has an idea about my situation. Thank you.

I had applied for C1D Non immigrant visa Via Drop Box on 14th June 2019, On 20th June received Green Slip 221 (g) where i waas called for an Interview, I had an Interview on 21st June 2019, the Visa Officer Informed me that the Visa is Approved and i will get the Visa in 2 Weeks time.On 28th June 2019 i received my Passport without Visa and again a Green Slip saying that the Visa is Under Administrative Processing and will revert by email.I have been checking the status it is showing last updated 21st June 2019 and still under Administrative Process.Kindly advise how much more time in such case

On OPT, came to renew visa stamp which expired in May.
How it went:
Submitted via interview waiver on Sep 16th.
Got back passport with blue slip on Sep 24th, asking to come to interview
Sep 26th: Attended interview, VO asked about my job and undergrad research (chemical engineer). Got pink slip and told to email docs
Oct 10th: Sent requested resume, travel history, work details etc
Nov 22nd: First update, still administrative processing
Nov 25th: Issued, collected passport with stamped visa the next day at Bangalore visa pickup
It's a long process and feels really shitty if you have a job in the US that you need to be at. MAKE SURE YOU GET AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AFTER SUBMITTING YOUR DOCS. It's just safer that way. Don't write anything in the body of email while submitting docs via email. I submitted one PDF invitation letter, and compiled all the other info in one word doc with headings.
