EB3: I-765 RD May 28th, 2019, Nebraska SC
As stated in my username, I am currently on the final countdown to losing my job because I haven't received my EAD yet. My RD is May 28th, 2019. Also, on the path to losing my mind but trying not to lose all of it, just in case I do get my card and am able to continue to work.

I'd like to know if an RFE issued for the I-131(Travel Document), could have any implications on the I-765 application? Our lawyer AND USCIS said it shouldn't and that USCIS will just issue an individual EAD card (and not a combo card), but I'd still like to know if anyone has had any experience with this?

Thank you and good luck to y'all!

Finally good news
Hi guys, the last month I was on this forum every day so I just wanted to share some good news with you.

My timeline:

I-485, I-131 and I-765 RD on July 9, 2019, NBC
Biometric appointment August 8

Case ready to be scheduled for interview 1/21/20
Case scheduled for interview 1/22/20
We ordered your new card 1/23/20.

We are in CA, I am married to a green card holder and I am on my OPT EAD which is expiring in 15 days. Looking at this forum and the processing times I kind of gave up and was getting ready to quit my job. But surprise surprise. So don't loose hope. Fingers crossed for everybody.

I-485 interview
Hi all! Just wanna share my timeline. NBC center. Married to US citizen. New York
I’m really surprised that this happened so fast! Neither of us expected it in a short time.

9/18 Received date
10/25 Fingerprints
11/13 Ready to be scheduled to the interview
12/12 Interview was scheduled
12/16 Got a mail that interview scheduled on 1/23

So, January 23 we had an interview in other words today!!:) I’m so happy.
The officer was super polite, smiling and in a good mood.

Questions to me:
1) What do you like about The United States ?
2) Tell me about your first date.
3) When did you start to live with your husband.
4) Why I decided to say “YES” to my husband

And then I was just adding some details and some stories from our life

Questions to my husband:
1) Why you decided to marry her so fast ( we had known each other less then 5 months when we decided to get married)
2) How was the wedding celebration.
3) How long have we been living together.

Likewise, we were picking some stories and telling him. Mostly, it was like my husband started the story and I finish or backward.
Then officer asked to show documents we have. Also, we brought photo album, for the short time being together ( less then 1 year), we had enough joint documents and pictures as well. So, officer was surprised about it. He took 2 pictures from album and keep them in his folder. At the end, he said that he has no objections that our marriage legitimate and promised to update case status tomorrow, so I can get my card in 2-3 weeks.

Good luck to everyone!!!!

Hi there, just poppin in to say: NOT TO WORRY I have not received my EAD or AP. I don’t have the shadow of an update and life is beautiful. 8 and a half months, I’ve stopped checking regularly.
Thoughts and prayers to myself. I could probably win the Guinness world record of the most shows watched in 8 months, though. But if I did, could I cash the check? WOULD THAT BE CONSIDERED WORKING? I kid, I kid, of course it would be. Alright I’m off to more mind-numbing activities. See you guys later and thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

(This post contains sarcasm and is meant to make you smile).

EAD (c)(9) - NBC - Finally new card produced
Hi guys, after almost 8 months' of wait (filed 05/31/19), today my status on EAD is finally "New Card is Produced". I feel so much better now.

My heart goes to all that are still waiting. My tip on this (which I received from another friend) is to call the hotline and try to escalate to senior customer service and have them log an inquiry for you. I did that, although from what the update shows there was not an office assigned to my inquiry, but I doubt if it helped. The numbers to press are 1-1-2-2 to get customer service agent.

I also logged the "outside processing time" request. Wonder if that helped a little bit too.

I hope next steps go smoothly as well. Best luck to all.
