Does anyone have an idea of the different statuses your case can have? Like a list, it starts out with Case Received and then it goes to x and then x. Would be nice to know what to expect. We're filing for I-765 only.

Passport
Hi all,
My UK passport runs out in May and my I-485 interview was scheduled yesterday (I don't have a date yet).
I'm in a position where I'm not sure if I should send my passport back to the UK (it takes 4 weeks for a new one). I'm hearing in different places that you need a minimum of 6 months on the passport for the interview?
I'm unsure when the interview is going to be and I really don't want to have to reschedule as I'm waiting on my passport to return.
Is this true?

December 2, 2019 I-130 case was transferred to NBC from California
None of the above has been approved by far
January 21, 2020- I-485 Interview ready to be scheduled

On January 22, 2020, we scheduled an interview for your Form I-485,
Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the below
I've recieved a notification advising that they have scheduled my interview for I-495 and I will receive a letter in the post with date time etc. Does anybody know how far away roughly the interview is likely to be?
Secondly, although the interview is scheduled, there is still no update on my EAD, and still states they have my finger prints?

Apply for DACA while I await AOS?
Hello everyone
I am currently awaiting my AOS which I sent in October. My DACA expires in august. I’m still waiting for my EAD. I was wondering if I could apply to renew DACA while I wait for my interview? Since I probably still have a long wait for AOS.

Unable to fax documents
Hi guys
I am trying to fax expedite documents to their fax machine, but it doesn't go through! I tried 6,7 times from two different locations. No luck! So frustrated:(

Response after submitting supporting documents to expedite
Hi folks,
I submitted the supporting documents through email on Jan 18, 2020, to California Center I believe. Will I get a response no matter they approve my expedite request or not? How long does it take? Does anyone have similar experience? I don't want to wait for nothing, I already lost the job due to no EAD card. So time is sensitive for me.

Dear friends,
I've always been a silent reader of this forum. Many times when I feel down, all your experiences has comforted me and I've always felt am not the only one going through tough times. I'm now sharing my happy moment that my Dad is approved after waiting for 67 days ( Vermont center). All I would say is trust god. He's truly going to grant you all a miracle. Don't worry when things get delayed. It's all to glorify his name. It's been 67days since I got the was approved but it's been 2 years since I waited for this moment. " He who believes win the Lord will never be put to shame" Romans 10:11. Good luck all.

Did congressman/congresswomen help?
Hi folks,
We are outside of processing time for the EAD since a few days now. (received date June 11th 2019)
We opened a case inquiry, and still no response (its not even assigned to anyone).
We are c9 category bay area processed in NBC.
Spouse is not a citizen, he is a GC holder.
We also contacted the congresswomen in our area office last Friday, they said they take 5 business days to process the case.
That means we don't even know whether they will help or not.
What are your experiences with contacting the congressman/congresswomen?
Did they try to help?
Was it helpful what they did if they even tried?
And has anyone contacted them after the case was outside the normal processing time?
