Since this forum was so helpful...wanted to share my experience
AOS - married to USC
Filed either 05/02 or 05/04
Went in for biometrics on 06/04
Lost employment on end of july. Needed EAD card to get a job and start. Based on how the timelines were looking didn't seem like it was going to happen anytime soon (went from 6.5 to 8.5 months processing time for C9 EAD to 3.5 to 5.5 months). Raised an expedite request by contacting USCIS first week of August and also contacted my local congress representative.
Gave job offer that I got, proof of financial hardship (bills, mortgage, etc.), and cover letter.
Congress representative was able to get ahold of USCIS and expedite the case.
09/06 Case was approved.
Now playing the waiting game for the card to be mailed out.
Travel document has not been approved yet.
Incidentally my I485 interview is scheduled.
To those in limbo, if you are in a desperate need, make sure you have a job offer/job and proof of financial burden. Raise the expedites by contacting USCIS directly but more importantly finding out who your local representative is and contacting their office. If they are competent at all they should help you. Don't wait for things to happen.

EAD approved Aug 29th NBC
I'm a May filer - applications received on May 7th
case approved on Aug 29th
Received AP and EAD approval notice and SSN on September 4th
AP approval notice has correct address, EAD approval notice has a truncated address - only one digit missing from my apartment number, however i still received the document as mailman knows my name.
I spoke to a rep and they made a request to change the address however it doesn't reflect on their system as ead is already approved.
Still haven't received my EAD card, tier2 says look out for tracking number although its been two weeks and no change in update that the card is mailed
Any help on what I could do to get my card asap? I have a job offer with a start date of 1st Oct and any assistance to point me in the right direction is really appreciated

So I finally got good news this morning and thought I’d share my timeline!
Filing from Mississippi. NBC processing and New Orleans field office.
2/7/19 - RD
2/11/19 - Check processed/letters in mail
2/27/19 - Biometrics
Radio silence
7/12/19 - Enquiry from local senator
7/16/19 - RFE due to missing tax returns/income
8/15/19 - RFE mailed to USCIS
8/19/19 - RFE received
8/21/19 - SR for I765 and I131
8/22/19 - Now - many EMMA chats, calls to USCIS officers and talks with senator
8/30/19 - Expedite for I765 as I am basically out of money and have a job offer
9/2/19 - Request for expedite evidence
9/2/19 - Bank statements, job offer, letters from finance company and a cover letter sent
9/4/19 - assigned to an officer
9/6/19 - I485 ready to be scheduled for an interview
9/9/19 - Interview was scheduled
9/10/19 - EAD new card being produced
Now to wait for it to show up. It’s been 216 days and it made me so stressed, it was horrible.
So for all you guys waiting, use Emma and ask them repeatedly, call them, use your senator and just push them.
There’s no order, no help, you have to do it yourselves. For those of you using a lawyer, you can do all this yourself and I don’t think anything will hurt your case, just try.
Now I can finally work! It’s all I wanted to do, now I feel so much more relaxed that there is hope.

My dad visited the USCIS field office in Memphis for us since we do not live there.
He 100% asked them they’re why not doing their jobs.
And it was satisfying to say the least.
