EAD
If your case is at the adjudication stage, how long will it be before a decision is made? Have an offer letter to start 8/26. Case was expedited on 7/24, still no status change.

I called USCIS this morning and they told me is in adjudication stage. Please any advise on how long more before a decision? Do you think they can take a decision before the job offer start date?

Interview scheduled but no EAD
Hi all,

I have my status changed to interview scheduled but still no sign of EAD. Will EAD still come or will I get the green card and that is all?

Good luck to all.

L2 EAD timeline
Did anyone recently receive their EADs based on L2 visa in about 4 months. I know the maximum time is 5 months but I’m not expecting the worst in my case.

Ead almost lost
My ead was supposed to arrive on the 12th it was picked up by usps on the 9th of August.
On Monday the 12th at 8:30 am tracking changed to our for delivery but nothing came at 10pm it showed a red alert saying item wasn’t scanned at delivery I went to post office first thing Tuesday morning and envelope was not found they asked me to leave my name and number and they will call.
I waited all day no call. Wednesday they opened at 9am I was there 9 on the dot asked for supervisor she said item arrived at post office but wasn’t given to carrier and she can’t find it.
I told her I went thru a lot for this after expediting it and waiting 4 months total for it post office cannot just lose it.
She gave me a number to call to file for an investigation I called they said to wait 2-3 days.
I went home called senator Ruben Diaz office and complained about the post office and told them I’m going to my new job tomorrow later in the afternoon I got a text saying it’s delivered I ran to the mailbox and it was there.
The post office is very careless and the employees are not helpful at all I was scared of having to reapply and go thru the whole ordeal and you cannot sue the post office but I wasn’t gonna sit around and let them say we can’t find it we can’t find it if it made it to your post office you have to find it what do they do with all the mail they lose??

AFTER RECEIVING EAD (COMBO CARD aka I-766)
Hi,

Can somebody help us out with this one to save a trip to the SSN office?

Our lawyer said that we have to go to SS office to apply for the social security after receiving the combo card. However, i have been reading a few experiences that it will automatically be mailed to our address after we received the EAD card.

Anyone experienced the same thing? What should we do next?
We are expecting the card to arrive in the mail today.

Any opinion and comments are greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Expedite Request
Ok I really need some help...I did an expedite request on 8/7/19 and today we got an email asking for proof for the claim. We have the receipt notice for EAD 03/22/2019, but nothing since then. We talked with our lawyer about the expedite request and he says we shouldn't have submitted it and to not reply to the request for evidence because it can cause the whole EAD application to be denied. Now we are very confused because this doesn't seem right. Can anyone give me more info on this. Is this true?
