Hello everyone,I expedite my case on 08/07/2019 and it was assigned to an officer on 08/13/2019.today 08/14/2019 I received this message that !The status of this service request is:
We received your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly..
Am little bit concerned coz they didn’t ask me to fax any documents,pls is dis normal for those who have expedite or I will still receive another mail asking for my documents.

I am waiting for more than 9 months
So I am waiting for more than 9 months for my combo card. I put 2 SR , they didn’t answer I expedite my request and it’s pending right now. I asked senator help, she just put regular SR. I received email that I should send additional information for expedite through fax. And I did . I waited two days but didn’t receive information that they received it. I call to USCIS and asked to speak to level 2 officer and she said that she can’t see that kind of information, she is not able to do this, and she said that processing time doesn’t mean that actual processing time, she said that we expect processing delays, bla bla bla. When I said that my friend received combo card while waiting 3 months and he applied in May, I applied in October she said that cases reviewed basis by basis. And than just hang out the phone. I am wondering guys did you talk to level 2 officer, I thought they suppose to know, about information like did USCIS received additional documents or no and did my request assigned to some officer or no. I feel hopeless, I don’t know what else to do. I have done everything.

EAD expedite
Thank you so much everyone for sharing your experiences here. Without this forum I would not have known that it’s possible to expedite EAD and what steps it requires. When we filed my AOS package (married to USC) we were under the assumption that the EAD would arrive in 90 days. It was quite a shock to learn the actual timeline which was 6.5-8.5 months at that time. I have a signed job offer with starting date on September 1st. Here’s my timeline:
05/30/2019 case received
06/28/2019 biometrics
07/09/2019 expedite request by calling USCIS customer service based on financial loss
07/15/2019 email asking to fax evidence
07/16/2019 I faxed the package including cover letter, employment letter and bills. Never received a confirmation that my fax has been received
At this point I also involved local congressman and senators’ offices
08/08/2019 call from congressman’s representative that my case will be expedited
08/12/2019 email from senator’s representative “Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent’s immigration matter. This case will be routed for expedited processing. Once this case is reviewed, your constituent will receive a decision or notice of further action. Due to the extremely high volume of expedite requests for this case type, there are numerous cases involving exigent or humanitarian issues already in the expedite queue, and we are unable to provide a specific timeframe for the expedited review. The strict enforcement of the expedite criteria means that all cases sent for expeditious handling are urgent, and we assure you that this case will be adjudicated as soon as possible.”
Still waiting impatiently for the decision and card. Exercising and a glass of wine keeps me sane at the moment, really stressful time and I feel everyone else here reading their experiences.

Waiting for L2 EAD
Hi,
My application for L2 EAD ( new applicant) was received on 1st May 2019. The status till date is the same - "Your application was received by USCIS on May 1st 2019". My application is sent to Vermont.
I have few questions here:
1. Is it too soon to submit a case inquiry request?
2. Who and how can get my case expedited ? Please note, I am a new applicant. This is not for renewal.
3. How can you get in touch with local congressman to get your case expedited and what are the prerequisites for expedition?
4. I see lot of people mentioned about biometric date? I haven't received any communication regarding any biometrics. Is it for those who are in the process of their GC?
5. Would there be any impact if I speak with EMMA( virtual assistant) regarding status of my application?

Has anyone had any luck with Chat with Emma? They don’t seem to know what they’re doing.
I was trying to find out the location of our case, I-485, I-130, I-765, and they acted really sketchy.
Then I told them we were getting worried cause my attorney said sometimes they misplace cases.
They didn’t have response to this and just kept repeating is there anything else I can do?
They eventually ended the chat leaving us hanging.

USCIS Website
When I go to check my case status on USCIS website, (I485/I765/I130), put in my case number and all it returns is “My” and a blank page below it, no error messages or invalid case numbers.
What’s that?!!
PS: All my case numbers worked fine before. It is a recent issue after they process the bio testing

Aug 12th - card being produced EAD.
I raised an SR on Aug 2nd online and also yesterday by calling. I dont know which one did the job for me.
Can someone tell me how long does it to get the card?

I am employed on h1b which also got denied yesterday so my employer will only let me work until they get the hard nptice. Is there a way i can get a stamp on my passport for the EAD which is suppose to come, so i can not have a gap in employment?

No new updates, just "case received.." at all cases. In recent communication with office rep, they say I have to wait the 2.5 - 5 months the online tool indicates for NBC before SR...I see the historical data for these procedures. every year is getting more complicated. In 2015, my cousin under the same situation got her EAD in 1.5 months and GC in 6 months.
