Expedite Request
Hey folks,
I raised an expedite request due to financial loss July 23rd, send supporting docs Jul 26th. In the mean time, I contact my congresswoman and they requested an expedite also on my behalf. Aug 12th I put a SR as the expedite request has not been answered.
I recieved this today from USCIS by email:
"We received your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly"
Does that mean that the expedite request has been approved and they are working on it to approve the case/issue the card?
Any idea? Thanks guys!

Is there anyone that have received yet the EAD/AP combo card and have filed in April and May in Nebraska?
How appropriate is the 2.5-5 months listed?
I am concern about a family member who isn't doing great and I want to see if I can go home soon with my EAD/AP card.

EAD Processing time on Website

I just checked the processing time on the USCIS website (NBC)
The processing time for a form that is based on a pending I-485 adjustment application [(c)(9)] is shortened to 2.5 - 5 months. Is it real?

EAD - AOS INTERVIEW
February 19 filer. Got my receipts February 25.
When my case was outside processing time, I filed for a case inquiry for my EAD on August 3.
On August 5 I received an email saying my interview notice has been sent.
On August 8 I chatted with Emma asking about my interview and that I haven't received anything in the mail yet. The live representative told me the notification was correct, but when she checked on her end, no dates have been assigned yet and they havent sent in the mail yet.
On August 10, I received it in the mail!! Will be having my green card interview next month.
QUESTION: Should I keep bugging Emma to speed up my EAD or should I wait until after my green card interview?

EAD Renewal finally approved EB1 NBC
Hi Everyone,
Never thought that I will write on my EAD renewal experience. Was always thinking that I will post my story once I get my I485 approved.
But the whole process I went through on EAD renewal, makes me to feel that I need to do the justice, for the knowledge and guidance that got from this Forum.
Employment based I485 applicant:
Service center: NBC
Application received date for EAD renewal: 12/10/2018
Existing EAD expired date: 5/23/2019
One good thing I did was, I applied for my EAD and travel document renewal very well ahead of time; 5 months before the existing EAD expiry date. That is the reason why I haven’t lost my job still.
Long silence till July 30th and the anxiety that I was going through cannot be described by words. Then I decided to act on it. Raised service requests for I765 & I131 being outside the normal processing timeline; then called USCIS and explained them about my potential financial loss and my family situation(I had a need travel to my home country).
I insisted to talk to a Tier 2 officer as it is already been almost 8 months. The Tier 1 officer got convinced surprisingly and said that I will receive a call in a day from Tier 2 level of officer. As said, got a call from them and he said he will submit the expedite request.
Also mentioned that I would receive a response within 2 weeks and I may have to fax the evidence of expediting my request if needed (Wait… Expediting my request?? It was already 8 whole months since I applied for renewal!!) But yeah, I was pleased with his response.
Expedite request was placed on 2nd August
Got a generic response saying my expedite request is been looked into; USCIS would get back with a decision shortly- Received on 12th of August.
Got the magic message saying “EAD card is in production” on 15th of August.
What a day for an Indian!!
Now early waiting for the card to arrive.
In mid of these 3 weeks, I would have had at least 5 chats with USCIS representative via EMMA; I kept following up to check on the status of service requests I raised and expedite request that the 2nd Tier office raised.
Friends, all I got to say here is, Do not sit back and wait for things to happen on its own. If you are in a real need, then just push yourself, do whatever it takes and get your job done. When you aim for something with whole heart and mind, the universe will respond to you; I have experienced this multiple times. So don't lose hope.
This forum is just awesome! Such a good knowledge repository for Green Card seekers.

EAD processing time
Any March filers(C9) with NBC with EAD in hand, no expedites?
I Filed in March 2019 I-485 I-765 and I-131 my case is MSC199 **** * with NBC I am expecting a combo card, last update on webpage is fingerprint review completed since april 2019....
Any February or March filers in the same category (C9) with EAD card in hand or expecting to get one delivered?

FEBRUARY filers
Today’ is day 180 waiting for eda card .. im February 15 filer, NBC.. i make this e-request on July 31 but until thos day it hasn’t been assigned to someone 😪 this whole thing is very frustrating.. btw I talked to my attorney & he said those “e requests” they don’t move anything along,after those 30 days waiting for answer they just pretty much are gonna say to keep waiting .. i hope he’s wrong & they give good news .. good luck yall

On 08/12/2019, status changed to Card is being produced.
Since then no news. I see people getting their status changed to approved to mailed in couple of days.
