After that no updates whatsoever. I checked their websites and they only say " Case was received".
EAD expedite request: Oct 29
Received an acknowledgment email: Oct 31
After that no updates again. I called them today and was told my case is still under review. I can check again Dec 3 if
I still havent received my card by then. So I called my congressman an hour later and they were pleasant to talk to. They sent me a release form to sign. I signed it and I included a heartfelt letter asking for assistance. 4 hours, I checked my USCIS account out of boredom and I saw the status changed to NEW CARD ID BEING PRODUCED. Now, I dont know which one worked! The expedite request that I made last week or that call made to the Congressman's office. Either way I am just so happy that my card will finay be here!!
PS I havent forwarded any proof whatsoever to USCIS or to the Congressman. So my advice to everyone waiting is BE PROACTIVE guys! There's nothing to lose!

GUYS, CONGRESSMAN!, CONGRESSMAN!, CONGRESSMAN!, Im going to say it again CONGRESSMAN!, CONGRESSMAN!, CONGRESSMAN!, I guarantee that the only reason I have an approved case is because of it.
my journey began with my application on feb 26, i was told the whole process was taking at least 5 months, around august i see in this forum a lot of people from feb getting their ead and i began to get excited waiting for my turn like a dumb***. well, my turn never came, i kept reading about people calling the congressman but my case is too delicate so i didnt want to mess it up but at day 235+ i honestly lost all fear, i just though i couldnt do anything worse to my case, so i got the OK from my lawyer, email the congressman from my area, something simple and vage, (i have problems with a case in immigration, and im seeking your help), or something like that, two days pass and they email me back saying that they need the release form signed and any mail from immigration about that case, that same day (oct 23) i signed it and emailed it , i called them around a week afterwards (nov 1), they said they havent heard from immigration, then the very next day at 10 am, the congressman calls me and tells me my case was put on the expedite route and that i should hear from them soon, and right there i knew what was coming, and i was right at 4 pm that day my case changed to card being produced (nov 2) and today it changed to case approved (nov 5).
it was all thanks to the congressman, the fact that the case was expedited with no sort of supporting documents what so ever and so quickly, tells me that inquiry from the congressman is a powerful resource dealing with cases like ours. Thank you guys, you all share this information with me and made this possible, now i want to do the same a pass it foward to other people, am using experience to turn my live around, cuz i was a MESS, it feels amazing knowing that all the options are gonna be at the tip of your fingers the jobs, driving, credit, and much more, again guys CONGRESSMAN CONGRESSMAN CONGRESSMAN

So I got this message this morning after my expedite request last week

What You Can Do
If you want USCIS to consider your request, please make an appointment with USCIS via the InfoPass website at https://my.uscis.gov/appointment.
I was expecting they would ask me to send them evidence to support my expedite but the sent that!
I tried to get infopass appointment but none is available currently!
So I’m thinking maybe I should just let this slide, because truly I do not have enough evidence. What do u guys think??

Biometrics done OCt 31
applied for AP and EA.
My cases doesnt show me anything no updates the only thing that rthey recieved my paperwork on October 2.
I dont even see that a biometrics was scheduled and I they were done already.
I check on USCIS account and USCIC case status account and the rgularway on the wbpage and noothing.
What will be a regular waiting period i have been more than 7 years without visiting my country

Recently i see, all applications taking more than 4 months for EAD. is this for everyone?
I had chat with my attorney and she said, we cant do anything until we heard from USICS.
I was in assumption like it might take 90 days if all goes good. but now what ever it is it takes 120 days.... uffffffffffffff... It will be long wait.
my question is: when can i do expedite? is there anything we can do?
To expedite, do i need to wait any min wait time?
Will it effect GC process?
Wait time will be based on which field office our application in?
Please help.

After that no updates, nothing, nothing about approval on even about I-140.
Does this mean my I140 was already approved and they are generating the EAD?
