It's been 175 days of waiting and finally my status change to new card being produced I expedited one that didn't work I reached out to my congressman dont know if that worked it finally changed on Monday and yesterday I got the approval notices in the mail
I just have to say you have to be patient and pray I cried and prayed and cried again the wait was awful

Ead on the way
I have been a silent reader of this forum and it has truly kept me sane and informed and i promised myself when and if i get through the process i would share my experiences for others to come.
Timeline
Pd June 27th
July 13th acceptance letter mailed to me
July 30th case status changed from case received to RFE sent
August 2nd fingerprint done
August 9th fingerprint review completed
RFE sent sometime in September (affidavit was signed at the part so they sent for a new one)
No more updates until
October 24th interview date has been scheduled and will mail notice. (Even tho there was no update on EAD)
October 25th card was being produced ( thanked the lord so many times)
October 29th card was mailed to me
October 30th received approval notice in mail for EAD
October 30th card was picked up by usps with trackingnumber
My advise to everyone is download the case traker app i learned about on this site and its the greatest thing the min there is an update ot pops up on your phone . God bless and i pray it all works out for all and my experiences help as well.

EAD wait time
Hi guys, I just wanted to see how is everyone is able to request an expedited process if your case is still in the normal processing time? 4-6 months based on NBC.
My PD is july 2nd.
Biometrics done August 1st
Since then nothing. My case has been at "fingerprint review was completed". I am literally losing my mind waiting for my EAD. I called USCIS several times but the answer I got was basically the same as online. The lady told me I can go online and request an expedite service if I want but when i do the only option to pick from is "case outside normal processing time" which I am worried mine is not and will get rejected.
I did contact my congressman and asked them to request an expedite last week and still waiting to hear.
Any input is appreciated.

After 6 months EAD approved
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share my timeline for people who are in the same situation or are going to be in this situation. After 6 months, I finally have my card being produced.
I received an RFIE ( initial ) after 4,5 months of filling so very late in the process.
I tried to expedite 2 times but dit not work because of the RFIE. And try to reach 2 senators but no help!

I just want to clarify some points :
1- when you receive an RFIE 4 months or so after filing don’t panick, it will NOT reset your clock!! I was afraid because I read that somewhere. For me it just took an extra month and everything went smoothly.
2. When USCIS received your response to RFIE they have 60 days to make a decision and issued your EAD Generally it took 1 month. Again this 60 days notice is only if you received an RFIE late in the process.
3. Don’t try to expedite when you have an RFiE pending it will not get through. Just wait at least an update on your I-485 : case is ready to be scheduled.
I can finally breathe again and look for job thanks my guardian angel 🙌🏽🙏🏽

07/31/2018: Biometric appointment
08/02/2018 : received RFE
08/08/2018 : we received your response and your case is no more on hold
08/15/2018 : case is ready to be scheduled for an inteview.
10/26/2018: Called USCIS costumer service. I asked the lady if there is any way to make the EAD process faster.. She said that i can expedite it if I have an emergency or job offer or financial loss. I told her that my wife is a full time student and she’s not making enough money and that i really need to work.
she said that she requested an expedite and that they will send me an email within a week to send them proof of financial loss.
This morning, 10/29/2018, my status changed to New Card Is Being Produced and i received an email after says: Your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, was approved on 10/29/2018. Your Employment Authorization Document (EAD) and approval notice will be mailed to the address on file
I didn’t send any evidence and i didn’t even receive an email from uscis that asks for proof!
By the way, how long it takes to receive the EAD and the SSN please?

No news until now... Please, is there any other filer from early July that has been already updated to "New Card is being Produced?". Because it looks that many late June filers have been updated recently. Another question: is it relevant if there is still no update to "Interview ready to be scheduled" in order have the i-765 approved in the regular time? Thank you!
