I 765 New Card Is Being Produced - how long it takes
I got the updates from USCIS website, saying my I-765 "New Card Is Being Produced" last Friday. And I called USCIS, asking them how long it takes to get my EAD and travelling card. They told me it would take 60 days. 30 days for producing and 30 days for mailing.

Is that true??

Never Ending wait for EAD
USCIS received my application for EAD on June 7th,2018.

It's been 125 days since I applied, and the case is still in 'received' state. I tried to apply for a petition to expedite under the condition of severe financial loss, but for some reason I was told that the particular clause "under financial loss" does not exist anymore and so I was not allowed to expedite my case.

I do have a job offer in hand and USCIS refused to consider that as a condition for expedite.

Feeling helpless. Any advice?

Which link to follow for accurate status?
Been following couple of blogs and it seems there are two ways for checking the case status:
1. https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do
2. https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

The first link shows the received date at a LockBox facility and second one shows the received date at the respective ServiceCentre. My I765 was received at Lockbox on July 3rd, 2018 and July 21st at ServiceCentre.

Question is - which date we should consider for tracking 90 days? Anyone observed this, please share your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

EAD IS BEING PRODUCED
Hello, Everyone! :)
I've been reading all the experiences here and now it's my turn to share mine with you! :)
After 114 days, finally my EAD was sent to be produced.
Here's my experience:

I-485 and I-765 married to USC
PD I-765: June 19, 2018
Request to Expedite: Sept 25
Assigned to the office: Oct 2
New card being produced: Oct 9

So I found this blog between 3/4 weeks ago and it was very helpful on my case.
I received a Job Offer and I called USCIS Customer Service Dept on Tuesday, Sept 25 requesting to expedite my EAD. The agent got all my information - including my e-mail address - and said I would get an answer for my request within 5 calendar days. On Thursday (27) I was checking my e-mail and I didn't get anything. So I called USCIS again to see if there was any update and I found out they sent an e-mail a day before (24) requesting a proof for my request to be sent by fax. The agent who opened my request didn't get my e-mail address right and after that, they are not able to change it.
At the same day (sept 27) I sent my Job offer letter by fax.
On October 2nd I called USCIS again to see if they received my fax and the agent said there wasn't any updates so far and I should wait.
So, I reached my Congresswoman's office and spoke to the person in charge of the Immigration matters. She asked me for a copy of everything - which I sent to her with the Privacy Act Waiver.
On Thursday (oct 4th) I called USCIS again to see if they received my fax and they told me my documents were received on october 2nd so the case was already assigned to an Immigration Officer and I would get an answer shortly. At the same day, My congresswoman's office contacted me by e-mail saying the same thing and explaining I couldn't get a time frame for that because the Officers had a lot of Expedite cases to work on.

So, Tuesday October 9th, I called USCIS AGAAAIN (LOL) around 8:15 and spoke with the agent and she forwarded my call to an officer. I explained that I had to accept the Job offer by October 12th (this friday) and he said I should wait patiently.
I have the Case Tracking App on my phone, so around 2 hours after talking to the officer, My case status changed to NEW CARD BEING PRODUCED.
That made my day and my Week.

So, for all of you guys who are waiting and waiting, don't give up and don't settle. Look all your options. Call your congress office, Call your lawyer, call USCIS. Go for it, you don't have anything to loose if you try it!

Good luck everybody!!! Sending prayers from here!

Married to USC
NBC (don't know which field office)

4/4 - Priority date (I-765, I-130, I-131, I-485, and medical received)
4/12 - "We accepted the fingerprint fee for your I-485"
5/9 - "We completed review of your fingerprints"

7/31 - Quit my job on H1B visa anticipating that EAD was just around the corner. Risky move and would not recommend it but leaving my job was outside my control. Also note that I was already 1 year into an employment based green card before I quit my job.

9/10 - Filled a change of address form online
9/18 - "Your request to change your address was assigned to an officer"
9/19 - "We sent a response to your change of address"
9/19 - "Your request to change your address was completed"

9/20 - Received a job offer, set a start date of 10/15 and called USCIS right away to request my case be expedited. Kind lady that I got on the phone agreed to file an expedite for the I-765 (I only spoke to one person so can't say if she was tier 1 or tier 2 - I read on this forum of people needing to get to a tier 2 agent to expedite)

9/20 - I-485 status changed to "case ready to be scheduled for an interview"

10/1 - By this time I had started to panic after hearing nothing from USCIS so I called again. The agent on the phone mentioned that an officer was still reviewing the case. I also decided to filed an SR online as the case was already outside the normal processing time

10/3 - Decided that it would not hurt to reach out to my congressman (I had initially thought that this would be a waste of time given that I had an offer letter as evidence to support the expedite request). My wife made the call (given that she was the USC, my thought was that her calling would get a more favorable response)

10/4 - Email sent with signed privacy release, letter explaining the situation, employment offer letter and USCIS confirmation email for I-765 receipt (could not locate the I-797 notice)

10/5 - Status changed to "Case was Approved"
10/5 - "We ordered your new card"

Here is my general conclusion from this. I think that involvement of the Senator's office likely played an important in getting the I-765 approved, however it is impossible to say for sure. My wife called to thank them. For some reason, the SR request never got assigned to an officer and I never received an RFE for the expedite request.
