EAD WAS RETURNED TO USCIS!!!
Hello there, I’m really happy for those getting their EAD. Exactly 3 month ago my was mailed to me but somehow USPS didn’t deliver it(they delivered approval notice about my advance parole and ead) and returned it to back to uscis. Since the. I did infopass 2 service Request but none of them helped me. Has anyone had a same or similar situation like mine? If so please leave your experience here. I’d be really appreciated! Thank you!!!

Hi,
I would like to know if somebody applies to receive SSN together with the EAD card, do they come together? And will it be dropped in the mailbox?

EAD
Finally after 235 days I got my EAD. Last update on my USCIS account was “we received your RFE response”. They never informed me that they approved my EAD. Today I found the card in my mailbox. The receipt number though says that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

Work Permit still not received
Hi! New user here! Ill put a bit of my info below

Notice date for I765: 01/05/2018
Biometrics:01/22/2018

Im curious if theres anyone out there on the same timeline as me who has received their work permit? I looked at the processing times on the USCIS website and saw that they were 5 months from receipt date. I'm well over that now and have still not received any signs of a work permit in fact I haven't heard anything back from them since I have my biometrics. Any one got any advice? I filled out the online service request form with no joy and tried calling but couldn't get through to anyone. Im at a loss!

Finally
Hi guys okay finally after 233 days my status changed to card being produced. I tried everything and I speak to L2 officer everyday since April nothing works except my prayers.

I called to expedite my case on the 19th of June, while waiting for their generic message of prove then my status changed this morning. What ever means of prayers you know is the only thing that works in this era.

Pending EAD for over 360 days
Hi, congratulations to everyone who got their case sorted out. I'm short of what to do next. Any ideas please?
I'm married to a US citizen. I came into the US with a K-1 visa. We got married in May 2017 and I applied for my work Authorization and change of status in June 2017. In Jan, 2018 I raised my first request for enquiry, I was sent a generic response saying "The status of this service request is: Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly. Recent Update on my account states " if we accept your case, you will receive a receipt notice. If we reject your case, we will send you an explanation with instructions". I also contacted ombudsman, no help, contacted Congressman, says no response from USCIS yet. Raised several requests at USCIS, same response. Went for info pass, no helpful response, called USCIS to expedite my case based on financial loss, I got a generic response that my case was expedited and completed and email stating " The status of this service request is: We received your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly". No request for prove of documents. It's over a month now, still no response. Any ideas on what I can do next cos I have tried everything I can. Thanks.

Successful Expedite Request
Hello all,

Thank you for all who have shared their comments. They helped me with some perspective and advice. Below is my personal experience. I am married to a US citizen.

Applications submitted (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131) - 02/16
I-765 rejected because of USCIS error - 03/08
I-765 resubmitted - 03/15
Biometrics - 04/11

Job offer received in late May. I waited until I concluded the background check, and then submitted expedite request:

Request to expedite via phone - 06/01. Claimed financial hardship
Request to submit evidence, sent via email - 06/05
Faxed over offer letter and cover letter explaining financial hardship to myself and the company - 06/06
Notice that the expedite request is under consideration - 06/08
Notice that new card was being produced - 06/14
New card mailed to me - 06/18
EAD in hand - 06/20

I hope this is helpful. Please note that my offer letter included a start date, and it is with a well-known company, which may have helped speed up the process.
