Producing card / Timeline
Hello!

I clecked my case online today and this is what I got.
April 27, 2018
We are producing your card and will mail it to you
You do not need to do anything at this time

We will mail your Green Card, employment authorization document (EAD), or combo card (EAD and advance parole) to the address you gave us. It may take up to 120 days to deliver your new card.

If your mailing address changes, update your address with us.

I want to know how long it actually takes from that to have it in the mail. Does it really take 120 days (omg)? I have travel plans and need to get it as soon as possible.

Please share your experiences.

F2A EAD/AP
Any F2A applicant from October/November 2017 approved yet? My i130 PD is 8/11/16 which should become current within 2-3 months. Hopefully May brings good news with it. :)

How to see the EAD card tracking details? I don’t see it in my uscis account.

Also will signature be required for delivery now?

EAD length
Hey guys,

I got married to a USC. I got an EAD approval notice 4/24/2018 after 128 days of waiting. Dallas TX office.
The approval notice says the card will be valid for 1 year. Is that normal because I thought the card would be valid for 2 years. So if I have to renew or extend the EAD next year, do I have to pay the fees and wait for months on end again?

Please share your experience!!

USCIS update
how long does it take from the "your card is being produced" update to it actually being mailed out? I know it says 120 days but doubt it really takes that long. Thanks!

Email from USCIS
On 3/20/2018, USCIS created a Employment Authorization Document (EAD) for you and mailed it to the address we had on file at that time, but the post office returned it to us. Recently, you called to tell us that you did not receive it. As a courtesy, we have requested that your card be mailed again to the address we have on file for you. Please allow 60 days from the date of this letter before contacting us again on this matter.

Had anyone received same email like this? Please share! November filler 2017

USCIS NEWS
Yesterday USCIS News. From now on they will require a signature for all green cards ead and letters. You can now track and have the post office hold it as well. This is great news finally someone used some common sense to make things easier for people!! You can read whole article on USCIS News#!! November 2nd pd no updates so far, not even assigned to officer! I started reading up on laws and ombudsman. You can only file with ombudsmen if your case is 60 past processing time. Unless there is an era or to exposure case. I also found that filling exposure through congress is a better way for exposure. You must sign release form through email is fastest way to do so. Keep the faith!

is the 90 day wait for an EAD complete BS?
Hey everyone,

This is my first post and I'm still kind of unfamiliar with the details and lingo, but my basic question is this:

Is the 90-day wait for an EAD accurate at all in 2018? My PD was 1/22/18 (95 days now). From why I've seen on this forum, it sounds like 5-6 months is the norm nowadays. I'm also hispanic, and I only say that because I know (and it's a fact) that people from Muslim-majority countries have been getting put into a CARP list, which is essentially an even longer wait for them. Ugh.

Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone been able to get their permit within the 90-day timeframe they specify, or if it's more like 180+ to keep my expectations in check.

Lastly, sending an RFE after the 90 days or beyond is just plain cruel. I really feel for the guy who posted that. Stay strong my friend.

Again, thanks for your help!

Curiosity
Anybody had to renew their ead because of pending AOS?
I’m happy to receive my first EAD a couple days ago. PD nov2017
However I always liked to be prepared.

Did anyone ever had to apply for EAD extension/ renewal because it took over a war to get interview and GC? Or did anyone had no issue and didn’t have the need to renew ead because things went along within a year? Thank u
