inquiry response?
when it says online that my case inquiry SR was completed and a response was sent where do they send it to? also my expedite request says it was completed and assigned to an officer so how do they then communicate with me? thanks

error in the name

C09 Marriage based.
After almost 9 months and after making several enquiries and I received my EAD. However, since my first name is very long, one alphabet is missing in my EAD. Although, My lawyer had filled up the form and applied, I have checked on my i-797c form also. Even in my i-797c, that one alphabet is missing. my lawyer had told me that since they might be out of the limited space they coudn't accomodate it in the i-797c form however in the sytem it may be enered correctly.
Now my questions are:
1. Is it true that my name is entered correctly? If so, then how can I check and have a confirmation since now I have to apply for drivers licence and ssn card.
2. Do i have to file another time?
3. WIll the same mistake of the name be there in my green card too if that gets approved.

Tracking
I contacted an USCiS agent today through online chat to obtain the USPS tracking number. However, she said they don’t have the tracking number yet and to check back at the end of the week.

EAD c9 married to LPR
Any October/November filers married to a LPR has been approved? I suspect they are greatly delaying those. USC requests seems to be approved quicker.

USCIS Update Message
Hi All,
Every other Monday I receive two message saying "we still reviewing your case/no update" message, however I have three applications (I-485/I-765/I-131) with NBC (PD=10/10/2017). The last update mensioned in the message matches my biometric appointment date. Do you have any idea:
1. Why i receive two messages for three applications?
2. Do you see any later update date than your biometric?
3. With the new website, do you see any status/update other than "your case was recieved" if you have a pending case and no RFE?

November fillers?
I filed for I-765 based on C9 in 21.November 2017. Still waiting for EAD, or any response.

Talked to 2nd level agent didnt get any response, sent 2 SR's last one yesterday got response ",SR **** *MSC is currently not assigned for processing". Is that real? What is going on?
Seems that processing time on their site is a joke.

Card mailed
As of today my card has been mailed. It could arrive sometime Monday or later that week. I put my name on the apartment mailbox. I haven’t gotten the USPS tracking number because USCIS is only open Monday through Friday. So I don’t know when to stalk the mailman.

Call uscis
Hello question- my lawyer opened a SR for me which I got a “within 60 days” answer and they are advising me I shouldn’t call USCIS until the 60 days passes (June 13th) is this true? I want to call and inquiry myself with a T2 agent. If so how can I do it? Just call and said my case is pending 185 days and I want to talk to a tier 2 agent?

This is honestly getting toxic on my end the last 1-2 months, as the wait is driving me crazy. Do you get an sms/email alert for real when the case is approved? I really need to stop checking the website With hopes every hour.

assigned to officer?
hoping someone can help me out- I applied for my EAD based on pending I-485 c9 12/21/17 at NBC. I have filled out SRs online- first one on 4/9 and the next one 4/18 (probably too close together but oh well). it says next to it that it has not been assigned to an officer. people here are writing that their cases have been assigned to an officer- how are you able to find out when your case itself has been assigned to an officer? or do people only see when their SR is assigned to one? confused!
