How to expedite
My husband has not gotten his Ead yet, but he’s interviewing for jobs now. My question is for an expedite, what do we need as far as evidence of financial loss? My savings and his has gone down since our application, can we just submit those statements? We haven’t gone into debt technically, but as stated the amount of our savings has diminished quite a bit. Would that suffice as evidence? Any advice would be appreciated!

New ds 2019
Hi! I got RFE on April 6th. The DS 2019 that I submitter with my application will expire on July 31st. Shall I send my new ds2019? Can someone tell me in that case, how will they process my application?

Any January 2018 Filer?
Any January filer here? If so, what's your status? I filed my on 1/26 to NBC and have not heard anything yet. I am currently employed and my current EAD expires on 5/8. I went from being very stressed out to feeling completely hopeless. This is my third time applying for EAD card (One in 2014, one in 2017 and now in 2018). I have never had any problem with the first two times. Not sure exactly what happened this year? :(

Hi - I expedited my pending i765 based on financial loss but when i was going to my
uscis account it is saying this :
your request to have your case expedited, referral number YYYY Xx, was completed.

so what i have to do ?
based on account status is my expedited request is approved ? or i have to send proof to uscis?

USPS sent my EAD back
Why does the post office send so many cards back?????? They dont even try to deliver it. My name is written on the box and they still did not deliver it. PD july 2017 and i am still trying to get my EAD. And USCIS is not making it easy either. Put a request to have it send back since feb 23rd 2018. called again April 9th and the officer put up another SR to have to card resent to me. i am really out of ideas at this point.

I-765 797C Notice Date: Nov 27, 2017 (USCIS confirmed they are able to reuse previously captured biometrics so no need for another biometrics appointment)

2nd I-765 SR: Mar 08, 2018
I inquired again today (Apr 19, 2018) about my I-765 status and related SR's through USCIS live chat.
And I mentioned it's beyond 30 days since my 2nd SR and still did not get a response.
The USCIS live chat representative said their system changed in the last two weeks and I should inquire only if my receipt date is before the 'Case Inquiry Date.'
It would seem that it basically disregards/nullifies my previous SR's.
USCIS website shows it's currently processing "I-765 Based on a pending I-485 adjustment application [(c)(9)]" at the TSC with Nov 20, 2017 as the 'Case Inquiry Date.'
Crossing my fingers they are currently processing mine.
150+ days waiting time and counting.
Hope springs eternal... :)

receiving EAD in the mail
There have been some cases where someone’s EAD got returned due to various reasons, one being “not having a name on the mailbox.”
I have been receiving mails from USCIS no problem such as the notices. But I’m not sure if it’ll be the same for the actual EAD card. I put my last name on the mailbox.
Any body who received it had complications? Or was it a breeze? Sharing experience would truly be appreciated !
