Biometrics Sept 14, 2017
Approved Nov. 8, 2017
Card sent Nov. 13, 2017
USPS could not deliver card / card returned Nov. 22, 2017
Service request made in Dec., Jan, Feb. March
Got email response from Benefits center
The status of this service request is:
"On 11/13/2017, USCIS created an employment authorization document for you and mailed it to the address we had on file at that time, but the post office returned it to us. Recently, you called to tell us that you did not receive it.  As a courtesy, we have requested that your card be mailed again to the address we have on file for you.  Please allow 60 days from the date of this letter before contacting us again on this matter."

It is so frustrating for me right now.. Its like a waiting game. Im tired. I don't know when I'm gonna get the card. It's like om not living.

I wish everyone the very best! God bless.

Is that normal ? 185 days !! what should i do ?
I applied for I-485, I-765 and I-131 at the same time on Sebtember 28, 2017
On October 10, 2017, they received my forums.
On November 8, 2017, I have my Biometrics appointment

They said after 90 days you will get everything ready.

After 90 days we called to check what happened on February 7, 2018 , they said you have to submit an inquiry and wait for 30 days or during this time you will receive something.

After 30 days on March 8, 2018 , we called again check, they said you have to submit another inquiry and wait for another 30 days , and if you don’t get anything during this time we will take your case to a priority level.

On April 2, 2018 we received a mail that is said “ Your case is currently under review, you should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly”

Today we called again to check what happened , simply I was talking to a robot lady… we asked like ok we passed 2 inquiry now what should we do, are you taking my case to a priority level? She said there is nothing like that. And try to make an appointment with the office of your state .

I tried to make an appointment but the website keeps telling me “ A connection could not be established “ and sometimes “ you can’t make an appointment at this time.”

And that’s it.

Today it’s been 185 days and I’m losing hope and faith .I can’t work or drive or travel anywhere out or do anything, it feels like I’m in a prison.

why my case is taking longer than any processing time ??

EAD processing NBC
According to this, on March 19th, NBC was still processing EADs back in July 19th.
For someone like me who is an October filer, this means in addition to the 6.5 months I have waiting already, I should prepare myself to wait another 2 months.

No relief after case approval
Case was approved on 26th March. Still no EAD card received. It has been 18 days since the case was approved. When I called them they said that they have not even shipped it yet & there is no way to expedite anything once the case it approved. The approval was sent to the card production team & God knows why it's taking them so long to produce the card. The approval notice although came on the next day after approval but you need the actual physical card to start working again. Not sure what issues are going on with card production now. This is for the Vermont Center. Did anyone recently receive an EAD card from that center?

L2 officer call experience
I just got off the phone with a level 2 officer and saying I was extremely disappointed is an understatement. All the answers she gave me sounded like she was reading off a script, at one point I honestly thought I was speaking to a robot. I also asked her if she could offer me any additional help and finally she broke off from her robot reading to tell me that she would help me to see where my file was. She told me my file still was at the NBC center and it still has not been sent for processing. Before I could ask her for any thing more, she quickly replied a "GOODLUCK TO YOU AND HAVE AN EXCELENT DAY."......I was so dumbfounded, is this lady for real? How does she expect me to have an "excellent day" if she didn't even bother to listen to the questions I had for her. I am beyond upset considering that since she is an L2 officer, I expected more from her.

164 days waiting for my stepdaughter (nothing) My wife's case took only 5 months 12 days green card in hand. All you can do is wait. Lawyers are useless a waste of money. Inquiries do nothing but puss you off. Calls to their overseas call center only prove they could care less about your case. Nobody at USCIS knows about your case other then the person working on your case. My wife's worker did a great job. The one doing my stepdaughter is probably eating Cheetos while reading all of pure comments on here laughing. The point is all we can do is wait!! Some get lucky and some don't. The only thing I know for sure is. PUT YOUR NAME ON MAILBOX. Or your card could be sent back. Especially if you live in apartment!! The mail carrier may not leave your I-765. Don't take my word for it. Google it!! GOOD LUCK GOD BLESS.

October 2017 filer - no biometrics appointment
Hi everybody! I read a lot of people are waiting for a final decision on their cases forever, so I haven't even received a biometrics appointment yet. I received notice of action on October the 30th 2017. That was it.. I called multiple times, people their don't know shit. One person finally submitted an inquiry, so the response came 30 days later - guess what? the representative made a mistake in my case number, so that was all I got - your information is incorrect. I called again and the other person literally refused to submit any requests and told me to wait. When I asked if it was normal that I haven't received a biometrics appointment still she said "No", but when I asked what should I do she said "Just Wait". Those people respond like robots, reading the website stuff that I can read myself and they are no help. I learned here on the forum about the Congressman and Ombudsman petitions - I submitted the latter. Will see if something happens, but it's been so annoying.
