USCIS replied to inquiry
I got a reply to my inquiry for the I765:

"The status of this service request is:

Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.

Address Changes: If you move, please provide us with an updated address. For more information about address changes, please visit our Web site at www.uscis.gov/ar-11, and click on "Change Your Address Online."

For More Information: If you do not find the information you need through our online services and need further assistance, you may contact our USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 or 1-800-767-1833 (TDD for the hearing impaired)."

Did someone got it too?
How long did you have to wait to hearing back something else? Approval or rfe or whatever?

Most recent experience with green card interview after EAD approval
Hey guys, just looking for people to share their experience here. I would like to know how long after EAD approval was interview scheduled for anyone here. Most recent experience (2017) please. It took 7 months to get my EAD, trying to prepare my mind for how long it will probably take to get interview notice.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

EAD received but no AP combo card
Today I received my EAD in the mail but it’s not a combo card. I applied for I-485, I-765 and I-131 at the same time on 9/192017.

Anyone out there with the same issue?
Will AP be approved later? It shows the case as received on 9/21/2017 on the website.

Any help would be appreciated.

Weird response EAD
Hi guys, any help here is appreciated.

I got a response from USCIS through congressman, not sure what it means.
"Your case has been requested for review and will be sent to an examining officer".

Can you please help if you know what that means?

It's Done
First of all thank you all for sharing your experiences, It has been a very stressful time for me and my wife and reading you all has been a ray of light in this darkness

We apply for my wife's EAD on september 20th 2017, pending i-485 (I'm a U.S Citizen)
On september 23th we had the application back because it was missing a signature.
September 27th- Application was received at NBC
December 12th- First service requested online- no response
January 10th- Called and got another service request, no response
February 14th- Third and last inquiry, no response either

At this point we lose all hope. We even discussed the idea of moving to another country.

On April the 2nd I contacted the Ombdusman office using their website.
April 4th- Response from Ombdusman office: We will contact the USCIS office...
April 7th- Case changed from "Case was received" to " We approved your case, Read the notice we mailed you for more information"
April 9th- Card is in production
April 12th (Today)- Card was delivered

I definitely recomend to contact the Ombdusman Office, their response was almost instantly and everything changed in a week. Do not lose hope but still plan ahead, I was in a very difficult economic situation (lots of debts due to a motorcycle accident) and waitting all this time for my wife's EAD added a lot more stress. I even started to have panic attacks, but right now we feel like we have another chance and we are celebrating haha.

All my prays to you guys who are still dealing with this situation, hold on there, do not lose hope and use all the resources available specially the Ombdusman Office.

Finally Card in Production
Hi my fellow applicants, I just received an email from USCIS saying they ordered my EAD Card. Figured to post my experience here. Hopefully it would be some kind of help.

PD: 10/20/2017, Adjust of Status C(9)

Biometrics: 11/21/2017
Called costumer service right after Biometrics, because I planed to travel in Feb. I asked if I will get the card in time. And the representative said I should expect it late Jan. And I naively took her words.

12/12/2017: Received RFE that was dated 11/17/2017.

12/20/2017: Response to RFE received by USCIS.

01/28/2018: Called USCIS again to raise an SR. The representative told me that their end system is down, so I need to raise an SR myself. Did that, no response.
Next two month, I raised SR several times, made a handful calls to USCIS. Every time they response "sorry we couldn't find the SR you raised". Last two calls they transferred me to T2. They said my case is still within processing time according to the "processing time sheet". But they can't give me an answer when I pointed out that sheet was awfully out of date. And one of them demanded me not to call again in a month.

03/15/2018: Made info pass appointment for March 26. Raised another SR. And this time it finally went through. I could see it under case status.

03/20/2018: Contacted ombudsman. System response saying they will get back to me in 45 days.

03/26/2018: Info Pass appointment. The officer was really nice, but seems clueless why it's taking so long. She called supervisor. Her supervisor said this process is taking average 6 months for them to process. So basically another way saying just wait. We also asked if we can expedite my Advance Parole. But that would be a separate application which would cost extra $575 to apply. And they usually reject it.

04/03/2018: Appointment with University's immigration lawyer. He explained to us why the process is taking much longer than expected. And told us we should have news updated at most in half a month. We asked about if we should contact congressman. But he did not recommend to do it right away.

04/04/2018: Ombudsman responded saying that they contacted USCIS.

04/10/2018: USCIS email and online update, my card is finally in production.

Honestly, I don't think I can let me guard down until I have the physical card in my hands. There are still chances that USCIS mess up the delivering process. But at least after months of waiting, I can finally see it ending.

And to all that are still waiting: HANG IN THERE. I understand your frustration. Keep trying, and get all the resources to help you. USCIS costumer service is honestly the least helpful from my experience, and some of them are very rude. It just sounds like they don't care. But make InfoPass appointment if you have some kind of emergency. This may not solve your problem, but at least might give you some useful information. I believe ombudsman helped with my case. And it looks like they helped with a lot others, too. So I definitely recommend to contact them. If that does not work for you, call the congressman's office.

This forum has been the most helpful. I'm really grateful to those posting their experiences. I learned a lot from you and you share really kept me going on. Good luck, to everyone.

i765 approved
I finally got e-mail this morning that my card is being mailed to me. Honestly I lost a lot of nerves in this process, since its been almost 7 months since I stoped working and my husband and I went through all of our savings. I drived myself insane by checking uscis account million times a day and stalking everyday when mail truck gonna arrive. I really thought that this will all go much faster... Anyway- My priority date is 12/14 C9 (MSC189037####) and NBC was proccessing my case; I raised 2 SR, none of them were responded. Good luck for everyone that are still waiting!!
