Case approved after 147 days of sucks
Att!!!! Do not move if you have case pending with uscis. I hope my story will help. My PD of was April 11th . I applied for my first EAD based on pending asylum. On June while my EAD case still pending I moved to a new apartment and I send my new address to uscis. Two weeks later they replied by a mail letting me know they updated my new address. Everything looks great. On July after 90 days I called them to make a SR about my EAD and the officer told me that they still have my old address in their system. I was so confused because I even received a letter from them saying they update my address so why do you still have the old one in your system? He told me he gonna fix it a make another request. I said ok. On August, after 4 months I went on infopass and I found that my old address still in uscis system. I was so paralyzed when the lady told me that. She said it's ok I'm gonna send them a message right now. Since I decide to just observe things because I did what I can do. Yesterday I received an email that they updated my address in their system and today my case got approved. I realize I shouldn't move but I didn't know. I hope this will be helpful to those who plan to move.

Waiting time for Work Permit
Hi all

Your comments were very helpful in this terribly long waiting time
Its officially 130 days for me only for the work permit.

It became a night mare
I called UScis a few times with being answered that my case is pending
I emailed Congressman without an answer 2x
I sent inquiries for help at the Uscis web site and nothing

So the only answer I usually receive is to wait.

I thought that 90 days was something like a maximum and with 130 days Im desperate and I just kind of don't believe anymore that I will ever receive it

Is here anyone who had to wait same long or had a similar experience?

Thank you for your time
DJ

EAD: Waiting Game
Hello all. I've been a silent observer of the site and I want to share my experience.

I have been waiting 110+ days on my EAD to be even be reviewed by anyone.

MSC - c10

April 25: form was received

April 28: received receipt
notice informed that they were going to use previous fingerprints and other biometrics

Aug 21: Raised SR, Told to wait
Aug 26: EAD expired - was able to get the 180 day extension per the new extension

To this date, no response. Case status on USCI just says it was received.

I see a lot of people mentioning to call our congressman and senators, but I don't know if that will help in specially in the state I live in (AR).

Anyone on the same boat?

I have renewed my card every year for the past 7 years and now this. It is really frustrating.

EAD card returned
My EAD card was sent on 20th July 2017. But it was returned to USCIS by USPS as undelivered because the apartment number was wrongly put in like 108 instead of B108 on 18th August.(Not my mistake, I have received other letters from USCIS in the same address) Since then I have contacted USCIS number of times, service request is also raised. But NO updates yet. Already missed 40 days of my OPT period. What needs to be done? Please help.
