My I-94 expired. I filed I-485, I-131, I-485, but never received any kind of extension of my visa.
Can I apply for a SSN only with the EAD, being my visa expired? (Remember I am a greencard applicant).

i applied for the SSN card and they said it will take one month because it's your first time and we will have to verify with the homeland security!!!

been waiting for 129 days for my husband work permit, they received our case on April 17, our lawyer just filed an inquiry yesterday, how effective is that? how long more can it take? i know all cases are different but have someone experience something like that? the service center is Nebraska, is there anything else i can do? thanks in advance!

Application Filed :- 10Th June 2017
Notice received :- 13Th June 2017
New card in production:- 23Rd August 2017
Card mailed :- 25Th August 2017.
Really happy.. Time for celebrationssss.
NOTE:- No Biometric is done for J2 Spouse EAD.

my timeline regarding ead is as follows. it is based on pending asylum
nebraska service center
RD: june 5, 2017
August 1,2017 : case was transffered to a new jurisdiction.
August 2, 2017 : a new office has a jurisdiction ( texas service center)
August 24th, 2017: new card being produced.
it has been 80 days total till the card is in production.
now waiting for the card to be mailed.
