EAD status shows card has been mailed but have not received it yet
Dear group members,

On 13th March, my EAD status changed to card mailed to the address given. However, since then there is no update. I have not received the EAD card as yet. I read on this forum that we can get the tracking number by calling on 1800-375-5283 but when i called they said they do not have the tracking number. I am from Chicago and Nebraska is my processing center.

Did anybody else had a similar situation. Would anybody know how much time it takes to get the card delivered by Nebraska center and in chicago? Is there any way i can track the card?

Thank you!

Missed biometrics appointment for i765 and I485
The post office returned my biometrics notice to uscis as an undelivered mail. I called the post office they ask me to clearly write my name inside the mail box. However I called uscis and they promised to reschedule an appointment for me within 2weeks. This is the 3rd week and I have not received a new appointment. Please does this have any effect on my application. If yes, how long do I need to wait? My application is two months now.

EAD Renewal tranferred to another office
Good afternoon all!

My EAD renewal application was transferred to another USCIS office. I spoke with an officer and he told me that they usually do that in because the office that has the case is too full with cases.
My case was moved from the Benefits Office in Lee's Summit to Texas Center. Here's the time line:

 12/15/14 - I-765 received at Lee's Summit office
 01/20/15 - Biometrics done
02/20/15 - I-765 application was transferred to Texas center

When I spoke with the Immigration Officer he told me that my case is on the final stage and that I should receive and update on March 15th (90 days since my application).
My concern is that since my application was transferred, if that will cause more delays for my approval. Has anyone experienced this?

 I appreciate anyone's help.

EAD Full timeline and Comment
16th November - e-filed form and fee
25th November - Hard Copy receipt and Case Number
28th November - Biometrics appointment for 16th December
USCIS says Case Number dated 8th December is in Progress. This appears to be the 'start' date, not the earlier receipts.
16th Dec - Biometrics
4th March - 'card ordered to be produced'
6th March - 'Given to USPS'
8th March - USPS Estimated delivery
9th March - Actual Delivery
Comments:
End to end, this is longer than 90 days. Suggest anyone allow 100 days or so
I was an E2 Visa Spouse. If you are, note you need copy of your marriage certificate for USCIS and the original or an extract certified by the issuer to get a Social Security number. Do this in parallel - it can take 4 weeks.
In my opinion, the form filling certainly does not require the assistance of an attorney.
Some attorneys indicate an E2 spouse does not need an EAD to work. Neither USCIS or the employers I raised this with are willing to rely on the legal cases the attorneys reference.

Sorry this may not answer specifics, but I found others timelines helpful, so thought it worth sharing.

EAD - No update from USCIS, 90 days over
Hello,
I applied for my wife's EAD on 5th Dec'14. She completed biometric on 30th Dec'14. After that, no update from USCIS on the case. Now more than 90 days are over.

We called them on 24th Feb'15, they registered the request saying it will take another 30 days to respond. They are also asking to contact nearest Immigration office - does anyone what this mean? Where to contact exactly? We stay at Olean NY.

Please share if anyone had this kind of experience and any guideline to proceed with.

Regards,
Ketan

EAD mailed without tracking number
Hi,

I applied for OPT EAD. My status was "Card ordered to be produced" on Feb 20 and it changed to " Card was mailed to me" on Feb 26. However, it has been more than 10 days now and they have not given any tracking number yet and Card hasn't arrived in the mailbox either,

Overall, it has been 96 days since the receipt of my application. I am really worried as I might lose the job offer that I have if I don't get it this week.

Please suggest me what to do.

EAD Expedite
The following is our timeline:

02/02/2015 received Form I-765, I-130 and I-485
02/12/2015 request for expedite, was assigned to an officer for response
02/12/2015 sent a response to your request to have your case expedited
02/12/2015 your request to have your case expedited was completed
02/24/2015 appointment for fingerprints and pictures ( biometrics )
02/25/2015 second request for expedite
03/03/2015 faxed evidence for expedite request
03/04/2015 your request for expidite was completed
03/05/2015 received your response to our request for evidence for form I-485

What I am perplexed is what does "complete" mean on the latest expediate response.

So far it seems that things are progressing as they should. My husband has been out of work for 2 months; so we are eager to get his work permit within the 90 day mark as we are relcoating to California from KY and have already sold our home.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

EAD Renewal Filed 10days late
Hi, Unfortunately we filed our EAD renewal application 10days late. We filed on Dec 19 2014 and card expire date March 9th. We did request for expedite EAD through customer service phone twice and both the time it was denied. Even took INFOPASS appointment but nothing worked out. Both of us received letter from our employer if we don't provide our new EAD card by March 9th they will terminate us. Very stressful situation.

Can some one help us or guide us what should we do :( loosing hope.
