EB3 ROW - Green Card Approved
Hello All, I got the good news today that my Green Card was approved and my card is in production. I've been a follower of this forum for the past 1.5 years, and I'm glad to say the wait is over!

My two takeaways from the process are, it's really important to be patient, and it also helps to keep following up, especially if your case is taking longer than you expect. Whenever my case seemed slower than usual (esp. when I was waiting for my interview, and after the 2018 ROW retrogression) I raised SRs through their website and made it a point to visit my field office. I believe that really helps since people will review your case and see what's going on.

If you have any questions please let me know. I filed in the NYC field office under EB3 ROW, my timeline is below.

March 2017 - Priority Date
July 2017 - I-485 filed
October 2017 - Biometrics Appointment
December 2017 - Received EAD Card
March 2018 - Ready for Interview
July 2018 - Interview Scheduled for September 2018
September 2018 - Interview Completed, retrogressed to October 2018
November 22, 2018 - Card in Production.

Thanks to all who shared their experiences as well, and good luck to those who are waiting!

After interview status change
Hello friends,
I had Eb3 Aos interview yesterday. It was straight forward as IO just verified the form I485 is correct. And at the end she said if there is nothing wrong found you will get gc in 30 days. But today morning, the online status change to case is ready to schedule for interview. Is that normal? Please share any experiences. Thank you in advance.

Working for the sponsoring company (EB3)
Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding working for the sponsoring company when we get the combo card. Should we start to work with them right away or we can do it after we get the green card.

Please give me some advice.

Thank you!

Filing I-485 based on approved I-140 filed by previous employer
Hi Everyone,

I need your help with the below.

I'm currently working for employer(B)-fulltime, they started with my green card process(still at the privilege wage step for the last 1 yr) and probably that will take longer (~12-18 months) to reach I-140 stage.

My PD is current with my previous employer(A), I’m trying to find out if it is possible to file I-485 (Adjustment of status) based on approval I-140 with my former employer(A), as it is still valid and the employer is willing to offer the job upon approval of the I-485.

If the above is doable, Can I still continue to work for current employer(B) until the I-485 is approved Or change sponsorship to Employer(B) in the future as the job position is same / similar using AC21 portability?

Do you see any issue with the above? let me know what is better.

I appreciate your help.

Will lawyer give a copy of the RFE respond?
My spouse got an RFE, the lawyer responded to it. However, they never send us a copy of the response. Is it a common practice? Should i ask the copy from my lawyer?

Kindly share your opinion.

Thank you.

Received courtesy letter Re: I-693
Hello everyone, today after 4 months of silence, i received a courtesy letter regarding I-693 ( my lawyer did not submit it with the application) with instructions to bring it to the interview.

Does it mean, overall my application is ok and i am less likely to receive any RFE? Any idea how long does it take ot receive interview notification after this sort of courtesy letter?
My application is with NBC at this moment.

Thanks a lot

Hi,

Anyone who hasn't been called for interview yet. I've seen people getting called for interview that have a PD later than mine.

Filing location: Atlanta
Priority date: 16-June-17

- Applied AOS on 15-Jan-18
- Case was transferred to NBC on 9-Mar-18
- EAD/AP approved on 19-Apr-18

However no progress since then. Any filers from Atlanta waiting for interview prior to June 2017?

Thanks.
