EB3 RFE for Medcal & supplement J
I am 30th Dec 2016 concurrent filer of TSC, I-140 approved in November 2017.

We replied to RFE for new medical, supplement J and G325A back in March 27.

No news or update from USCIS since then except online status says that they received RFE and case processing will start again.

Is there anybody whose is waiting this long after responding to RFE for medical and supplement J?

feedback, comments, suggestions on this topic are appreciated in advance.

EB1 update
Have any Indian citizens received their GC? Or will GC's be issued only post OCT due to the current retrogression?

140 not approved but RFE for 485
Hi Friends... this is my first post on this forum hence pardon me if I am repeating the question or made any obvious mistake by asking it.

05/31/2017 Filed140-485 concurrently
11/18/2017 - Got EAD
Long wait time and not change in the status.
07/20/2018 received RFE on 485 for spouse's birth certificate.
07/20/2018 received 'Courtesy Letter to Applicant' for medical exam but asked not to mail it and wait for the interview call.
07/31/2018 responded RFE (birth certificate)

my question,
1) My 140 is not yet approved but I have started getting RFE for 485. Does any one experienced it? and has any knowledge about it?
2) I have not heard 'Courtesy letter to applicant' before on any forum. what is that ?

Do anyone know about these question or have you experienced it?

Your info / opinion / thought will help me.

Thanks in advance!

Card without status change on portal??
All,

Did anyone get his card without online case status being updated?

I was interviewed on Monday 07/30 and I/O told me that he will approve it today and I should get my card in a few weeks. But I can see no changed on portal. It still shows - Interview Was Scheduled.

Thanks!!!

Interview mandatory for all?
Hi Quick Q,

L1 visa - I-485 and I-140 filled concurrently in Feb 2017. Should I expect an interview?

For reference, I got an RFE in May for my work which was filled and accepted. And I received another RFE for medical as the previous one expired (originally completely October 2016).

Just trying to work out the next steps. Having our medical redone tomorrow, so should be able to submit next week. Can't work out whats next after that?

Anyone else with any experience of a similar situation?

April 4, 2018 - RFE issued for i485J
April 13, 2018 - RFE received by USCIS
April 23, 2018 - EAD/AP card is being produced
April 30, 2018 - Received card in mail (mailed to my lawyer)
June 15, 2018 - Ready to schedule for interview (Again!)
June 21, 2018 - Interview is scheduled
July 31, 2018 - Interview date, approved on the spot, just when I stepped out of the building, I received a text message that my status is updated - "New Card is Being Produced" :))

All of the hard work and frustrations paid off. Finally! The officer told me that I will be receiving my green card in two weeks. :)

Interview only lasted for about 10-15 mins. Officer asked for my job responsibilities, current employer, asked for my tax returns (I gave 3 years tax returns), EVL, IDs, passport, SS card.
I retook my medical exam because it expired July 3rd, but I forgot to give it to him and he never mentioned it either. The he proceeded with some of the Y/N questions. Then did something in the computer and then handed my the letter congratulating me that my case is approved.

Just keep the faith and always always always believe that God will provide. :)

EB2
I had EB2 (NIW) interview yesterday at Atlanta field office. I went with my wife and our five year old son as dependents. The IO was very friendly but the Ys/No questions for both of us were very boring. The IO checked a few of our documents, collected some family photos, and made copies of our DL and land title registration. They then took our our pictures and FPs. They asked if we had any question for them and we said no, and they indicated they would run another background check and adjudicate on the case. The interview was over. I was really confused because I was expecting some questions about my education, research, etc. It appears the IO had no doubt about our relationship but they indicated that they just needed documents that can justify their decision, should they be questioned about their decision. At the end, we were escorted out of the office. We were not given any letter. I don't know if this is normal.
