EB2
I had EB2 (NIW) interview yesterday at Atlanta field office. I went with my wife and our five year old son as dependents. The IO was very friendly but the Ys/No questions for both of us were very boring. The IO checked a few of our documents, collected some family photos, and made copies of our DL and land title registration. They then took our our pictures and FPs. They asked if we had any question for them and we said no, and they indicated they would run another background check and adjudicate on the case. The interview was over. I was really confused because I was expecting some questions about my education, research, etc. It appears the IO had no doubt about our relationship but they indicated that they just needed documents that can justify their decision, should they be questioned about their decision. At the end, we were escorted out of the office. We were not given any letter. I don't know if this is normal.

EB2 ROW
Hi everyone!
I need to know if this also happened to anyone here.

EB2 Schedule A
PWD is valid till June 30, 2018

My I-140 was filed concurrently with I-1765 (EAD) and I-485 on June 30 by my lawyer, but Fedex delivered it on 07/02/18, so the I-140 got denied (premium processing) due to PWD being expired.

Instead of appealing to USCIS due to technicalities (Fedex was supposed to deliver it the next day), which will take 3 to 6 months, we decided to wait for another PWD to re-apply.

However, my I-765 (EAD) was approved together with my AP. They sent the approval notice and waiting for the EAD card.

Anyone here has a similar experience? Do you think it's possible to have an approved I-765 with a denied I-140?

EB2ROW_Employment Based
I serve the living God and all glory to God.

Here is my time line for your reference.

EB2 ROW (together with the spouse and two kidos.)

12/21/2016 PWD submitted to DOL
03/??/2017 PWD received from DOL
09/01/2017 PERM filed (PD)
02/09/2018 PERM approved
03/30/2018 I140 (Premium)/ I485 received by USCIS
04/13/2018 I140 approved
04/26/2018 Bio-metrics
05/16/2018 Case transferred to NBC
06/05/2018 EAD/AP approved (Kidos were approved for their APs about a week ealier than me.)
06/11/2018 Interview scheduled (Notice received in mail a week later.)
07/16/2018 Interview at Houston office
07/16/2018 'You attended your interview'
07/17/2018 'We are producing your card.'
07/17/2018 'We approved your case.'
07/23/2018 Card received in mail

The interview questions were quite straight forward as the other folks described already. Y/N questions and job descriptions. My spouse had just a couple questions for her identification check. And the officer took my W-2 (3 yrs), Tax reports (3 yrs), pay stubs (recent 3 mths), and employment verification letter. The other docs I prepared were refused saying the officer had everything in the folder already. We were not approved on the spot because we were the last interviewees of the day, 1:15 to 2:20 pm, I guess.

I used the USCIS mobile app to check in the status as I didn't need to log-in every time and it popped up messages if there was any change in the status. However, I noticed that it sometimes showed different things from 'My USCIS' so I would recommend to cross check in critical moments.

Most of all, God blessed my family as I know the process, especially for I485, went through really fast without RFEs. We prayed hard for this at where God's name stays as God promised We would be listened to if we pray there.

God bless you too and all the best!

Any I-140 filed Apr 2017 still pending?
Hi all,

I had I-140 and I-485 concurrently filed at TSC in April 2017 (the 2nd time), under EB1C. The status of I-140 is still showing "Case Was Received". Also the I-485 is just showing Fingerprint Fee Was Received. Below is my timeline:

12/19/2016 - USCIS received I-140 & I-485
1/9/2017 - USCIS record showing both I-140 and I-485 were returned for insufficient funds (here was my bad luck, the checks provided by my employer had something wrong. I was never informed until the case rejected (not denied) in middle March 2017. At that moment I was also not given the case numbers from my employer and didn't know there is way to track the case myself. I was simply told just wait)

4/21/2017 - I-140, I-485, case received (had to resubmit the application)
5/9/2017 - fingerprint fee received.
7/10/2017 - biometrics done (but there is no update on USCIS)

That's all I had. My employer also submitted SR about I-140 in January and June this year. Response from January said the case was under additional review. There has not been any feedback received for 2nd SR (although it shows SR was completed on line).

Is there any one had similar timeline like mine? Any suggestion?

Many thanks.

EB2 interview Newark NJ
Hi guys,

My interview was completed last Saturday, July 28th, 2018 at Newark, NJ office. I'm EB2. IO was very nice, the interview took more than one hour for my family and myself. We waited more than 2 hours to start. They asked for the oath, fingerprint, full name, passports, visas, I94, arrival/departures to the US, place of birth, current status, date of marriage, original birth and marriage certificates with translations, recent w2, return transcript, 3 paystubs, EVL, my job position, years in the company, name of my manager, medical exams, current address and questions yes/no.

IO checked the visas for my country and confirmed it is current, and then told me that they need to run a background check and if everything is good I will receive the notification on Monday and the green card withing two weeks. At the end IO asked for the driver license of my wife and myself, and he made a copy of them and gave me a letter saying that my case is being held for review.

Do somebody know how long it takes to receive the approval and/or the green card in my mailbox?

EB2 Interview Baltimore Field Office
Hi All,

My wife and I had interview in Baltimore field office on July 25th for EB2. Everything seemed fine and regular questions were asked during the interview. At the end of interview, we were given a form that says all documents are complete and the application should be reviewed more (or something like this). Later on the same day our case status was changed to "Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed".

I was wondering if anybody else has been through the same process and can estimate how long it takes after this status for the decision to be made. Many of my friends have been approved on the spot and I feel like something is wrong.

Thank you in advance for your reply

Need your advise - has anyone been in my situation?
I have answered Q 25/26/27 as NO as I missed mentioning my minor traffic violation ticket, which happend 5 years back and i paid $25 for that.

Do I need to bring it up during the interview and correct it even if I/O does not ask about it?
