~140 days since AoS interview and still no word

Wondering if anyone had a similar timeline. I had my EB2 interview on Dec 9 in NYC, there were no issues, but I still have not heard anything back.

Anyone else had an interview in NYC in Dec, Jan or Feb?

Medical expired, but didn't ask for new one?
I had my interview today. The medical exam submitted with 485 was done in March 2017, so it is actually expired. I had a new medical before interview. However, in the interview, they never mentioned medical example. They asked what I have for him. I submitted paystubs, W2, tax and company letter, but totally forgot medical. I realized I still have that sealed envelop after came back home. The online status changed to "New card is being produced" right after the interview....Do I need to submit the medical proactively or just keep them in case they may ask for it later? Will they look back at my file and find it's missing up to date medical exam, after the card is being produced? Has anyone seen this?

Primary approved and dependant pending
We recently had employment based interview and husband is primary applicant. IO told us at the end of the interview that both our cases are recommended for approval and we should expect to receive green card soon. My husbands online status changed to card in production one hour after the interview. However, my status has not changed at all. Is this common?

Inventory as of April 2018
Was checking the USCIS inventory, they have latest one as of April 2018, very interesting facts from this inventory.
In Jan 2018, total number of EB1 cases pending were around 24,042 and in April 2018 the inventory for EB1 is just 3019, this explains for all those Jan / Feb 2017 filers, only pending ones are from Jan/feb/March 2017 for some reason. I am not sure why the rest of the months are 0, are they all processed in just 3 months time?

Somehow 2016 applications are still pending more then 2017 ones. Is this inventory accurate?

Interview Experience in Pittsburgh PA office
Hi there- I had my interview yesterday in the Pittsburgh PA field office for my I-485 AOS. Interview was short, it was scheduled at 10:30 am for both me and my wife. But they actually did the interview separately for me and my wife. They took me in first, and then my wife. Interview was basically the Yes/No questions from the I-485. The lady asked if I had any other status except the F and H1B. After the interview, she said, she will need to run some checks in couple of other system, and should be able to approve it, and gave me and my wife the standard letter that says the case will be continuance.

Last night my case status updated to Interview is completed, and my case must be reviewed. Is this something that I should be worried about? Shouldn't it say the case is approved?

Your feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks!

i-485 processing or no movement
Hello,
My EB1C (India) i140 was approved in March and i485 was transferred to NBC just before April 1 retrogression. I am expecting an RFE though, for expired medicals.

Just checking:

a. Is anyone seeing any movement in NBC status post April 1, specifically people from India

b. If yes, has anyone received interview date / got transferred to field office since Apr 1?

c. Also, do medical related RFE's originate from NBC or from local field offices?

Appreciate any response, Thank you!

Parallel Processes
I will appreciate if someone share experience or expertise on following scenario:

My employer has submitted L2 extensions (current L2 expiring on 20th June 2018) for my wife and kids to USCIS today (April 39th)

My wife employer has processed EB3 GC for all of us, which is at I-485 approval stage. We submitted new medical RFE reply on 27th March 2018, and now waiting on USCIS.

Both processes are independent and unknown to across employers.

Questions:

1) Is there any impact or correlations of L2 extensions through my employer vs EB3 GC through my wife employer

2) Let's say EB3 GC approved earlier than L2 extension, what will happen to L2 extension?

2) Will USCIS return L2 extensions back to my employer at the same time when GC approved, or

3) L2 extension remain pending in queue with USCIS until it's processing time comes (current 4-5 months) and at that stage they will return back to MY employer, saying that applicant got GC already etc.

Again, will highly appreciate if someone share experience or knowledge about this situation.

Interview
Case: EB-1A, India

9/17: I-485 documents received
10/17- Biometric
1/18 - EAD/AP card received

Received notice for interview in New York in 5/18.

I am wondering if the following points might arise during the interview? In that case, would I need a lawyer to accompany me?

1. I had filed a I-140 under EB-2 in 2010. Given there was no traction, I filed EB-1A in 2017.

2. I do have a month gap in work. This was in 2008 during financial crisis when I lost job and found one a month later. I have no other breaks in employment.

3. Secondly my current status is the EAD/ I-485 status. My H-1 expired in Dec-2017 and my lawyer advised no reason to file for an extension for H1B as green card was expected anytime. He cited clause 245(k) benefit.

Would be helpful to hear your thoughts.

Got an RFE today! L1 > GC
Filed concurrently in Jan. 2016 (Nebraska), got fingerprints taken pretty soon in February 2017, I-140 approved in December 2017, then nothing... until now! RFE for expired medical plus another easily obtainable document I had missed. So happy something is finally happening!
