Interview Scheduled but status is not updated (i485/EB3)
My case was transferred over to NBC on Jan 31st. The status on myuscis website where you have an account is the same. However, the status on the old USCIS status:https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do says interview was scheduled on April 3rd. I have not received any notification yet. Which is the right status? Should I assume my interview is scheduled.

i485J RFE Before Interview
Hi All,
My status in egov website updated that they were ready to schedule my interview in March 21st. Then it suddenly changed to something about not able to process any information on my case. But on the myuscis website, they said that they issued an RFE. I received the RFE asking for i485J. I remember us submitting this form when we mailed my i485 packet.
Anyway, is this normal to receive an RFE before the interview? Is it likely that I will not get interviewed? Lol just hoping. OCT 2017 filer here, EB2 PH. No EAD/AP as of today. But it's okay if I go straight to GC.
Anybody that has the same experience as me?

Card mailed
Hello All,
After 9 days of RFE-R suddenly my case was updated saying "Card was mailed to me".... We mailed your new card for receipt number SRC..... But in between this message and the RFE message for Medical expiration the system was never updated, could be this possible? I meant to receive the GC without any message as "Case Approval", "Card in production", "Welcome letter" and

i485 rfe
we recieved medical rfe in which an attachment said check the box if supplement j is attached. we were not actually asked for j as rfe. we didnt attach supplement j but i would like to know your experiences

Here is our experience for EB1C
Filed on - 27 Deb 2016 concurrent filling - Indian national
Biometric appointment - 22nd Feb 2017
EAD and AP combo card received - 3rd March 2017, Then no movement for almost a year. Filed EAD and AP renewal.
I-140 approved - 24th Jan 2018
I-485 Medical RFE - 14th Feb 2018
RFE response submitted 3rd March 2018
12th March Status changed to approved.
20th March GC received.

USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case.
My case status changed from "your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" to " At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information."

the current status of my i-485
Dears,
I phoned USCIS call center and got the call transferred to an officer:
and when I asked the officer what is the current status of my i-485, he said "the case is adjudicated by an officer, it means under review"
While the congressman replied my 2 weeks ago that the case is in the background check!
So any thoughts or advice? and when I should hear something back from USCIS?
taken into consideration that my PD is August 2016 and RD is October 2016 and i-140 approval is October 2017
and I did over 6 SR + Congressman inquiry + Senator inquiry!

Anybody got GC through cross country chargeability
Primary beneficiary: Indian citizen
Spouse or derivative beneficiary: Kuwait born Indian citizen
We have filed I-485 EB2 under cross country chargeability rule.
485 received date: 02/09/2017
We had submitted a case inquiry through the senator
Response that we had recieved is as provided below.
"In regards to the I-485, based on an approved I-140, your constituent has a priority date of August 19, 2016, under the India 2nd preference category. The current Visa
Bulletin shows there may be a visa available for those in this category with a priority date prior to December 8, 2013.

Based on this, it would not appear that Mr. YYYY is not eligible to adjust status at this time."
It appears that the AOS officer is not considering the fact that my wife was born in Kuwait and hence we are eligible for the cross country chargeability.
Cross country chargeability rule makes our case under Rest of the world 2nd preference category and hence visa is available based on our priority date of August 19, 2016 and we are eligible to adjust status at this time.
Is this true? Will we be eligible to adjust status at this time?
