Hi guys. So as I understand all filers who applied before 6th of March 2017 are not subject to have interviews? Anyone here who got interviews scheduled despite their filing date prior to 6th of March?

Interview scheduled
I've been diving in the forum for couple months already and thought it would be my turn to share experience with people here. My status just changed from "Transfer your case to...(NBC)" to "Interview is scheduled" on Feb, 01 2018. Below is my time line for your reference

NSC / EB-2 / ROW

PERM approved : 05/30/2017

I-140 approved : 06/30/2017 (concurrent filing)

Bio appointment : 07/19/2017

EAD / AP card received : 09/13/2017

Transfer to another office (NBC) : 12/06/2017

Interview is scheduled : 02/01/2018

I believe their will be a lot of folks who's been waiting for so long get the same message like me today....

Field office would be : San bernardino, CA. (will confirm this after I receive notice mail in a few days)

Instead of complaining take ACTION!
I see a lot of people frustrated here including myself. We need to take action because no one is reading forums. Write to your congressman and/or senators; tell them about this unfair treatment. People are crying about DACA but we don't have any voice. Take action write today, call the congressman... But I know you won't

JAN FEB fillers speak out
Jan/Feb fillers there is really frustration to see people applied wayyyyy after us are getting approval and we just keep checking the cases, mycasetrack and immihelp every 15 minutes without any move,
I wish somebody could read our statements to do something to end this unfair treatment.
what was our fault who applied on jan and feb?
its 365+DAYS without seeing any move
just keep on waiting
all of us will get RFE for medical and Supplement J for sure which adds at least a month if not 2 to the process
raising SRs also no help as they respond according to a programmed machine,
our hands are tight and can not do anything

Employment-based I-485 Interview Experience
Hello, I just had my I-485 interview and wanted to share my experience. These employment based interviews are pretty new and not a lot of information is out there, so wanted to let others who are also in the same boat know about how my experience was.

PD June 5 2017
Interview Notice date Dec 22 2017
Interview Today
Field Office NYC

Came about an half hour early for my interview but had to wait about an hour past my scheduled time for my interview. The interview itself was very straightforward. Questions asked include:

- Requested an updated letter of employment, pay slips, and tax returns for prior years. Unfortunately I did not bring my tax return but had my W-2
- Run through of the I-485 application: What is your name, your father's name, date of birth, place of birth, previous addresses, etc. All the info in the first part of the application
- Asked all the security questions in the I-485 application: Have you ever been arrested, have you participated in drug trafficking, are you a communist, have you aided in murder or committed murder, etc. Certainly a bit intimidating and daunting to be asked all these questions in person.

The interview lasted about 10 minutes. The Officer said she would have to review a few other things, like run my security check, before the application could be approved.

I've heard that interviews for other applications haven't been as straightforward and interviewers may go into more detail around job description, qualifications, etc. but I was told to prepare to only repeat what was already in the application, and only go into more detail if asked.

My attorney, while present, did not answer any questions or provide input during the interview. Not sure in what circumstances having your lawyer there would be an advantage. Most applicants in the room appeared to be marriage-based applicants and had their lawyers with them.

Hopefully this is helpful!
