i-765 still not received
Hi everyone sorry I am reposting it because I forgot to add that I filed from Phila and my case is being handled by beneficial national center in MO,

I hope someone will be able to help me out, I submitted the i-485 with both i-765 and i-130 on april 20th 2017. May 9th 2017 uscis sent me a notice of action to request additional information which I sent back and the acknowledge the reception of what the requested. on november 27th 2017 I received i-797 stating that my i-765 was approved and an EAD card will be sent in a seperate envelope, 2days later I received another notice stating that my case had been opened, I then called the 1-800 number and spoke with a higher level agent that was telling me my i-765 was approved on november 22nd 2017 but then canceled and on november 24th 2017 it was approved again and then canceled again the next day and now my case is on hold. He then asked me if I received anything regarding my i-485 I said no, he then placed a service request on december 3rd 2017 for i-485 being processed longer than appropriate periode with another SR for the i-765 for additional notices that I never got.
On my profile nothing had been updated for my i-765 apart from the very first one that stated we received you i-765 request on april 20th.....even when I received the approval notice for the i-765 it hadn't been updated, even as the agent was saying that it was canceled, it is not showing on my profile. For the i-485 only we received on august 9th your additional information that was requested. I then called again and this time the agent (high level) that I got was telling me, after my i-765 was approved the 2nd time and canceled again and my case being on hold, they finally denied the i-765 and sent me notice on november 25th explaining. I told him that day december 28th when we were talking that I never received any denial notice and if the i-765 was denied since november 25th why is it not also updated on my profile for me to know what is going on with my case. He then put an SR and told me I still have to wait 30days for a response. In the meantime I am having job offers that I keep cancelling.
Anybody had been through something like this before? a help will be appreciated. I tried infopass (no date is ever avaible, I have been trying for a month now).

J-2 EAD Timeline
Hi Everyone,

I've been reading this forum for the last couple months and thought I should do my part and add my experience.

I applied for EAD from Minnesota, based on J-2 visa. Note that with J2 visa biometrics are not required.

October 18, 2017 - Case received at AZ lockbox
October 23, 2017- Email with receipt number and notification that case has been accepted and forwarded to Potomac Service Centre
January 2,2018 (Day 76) - Called USCIS to submit service request
January 3, 2018 - Email response to service request was as follows:

"Recently, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, to notify us that you believe your case is approaching the committed processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Your application is still pending consideration. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show your case is in line to be reviewed by an officer. We ask that you allow additional time for this process to take place since we process these cases in the order received."

Hoping it doesn't take too much longer. Will update when I receive approval.

EAD Approved
Hi everyone

I have been reading your experiences for the last couple of months and after my case was approved I decided to share my experience with you all.

My application is marriage based and my husband and I decided to do all paperwork by ourselves.
We don't really have a difficult case, it is the first marriage for both of us, no issues with law, not complicated, all you have to do is to follow directions carefully, make sure you attach all required documents and you're going to be just OK.

This is my time line
06/05/2017 we got married
10/16/2017 Package was send (I-130, I-485, I-864, I-765,, I-693, I-131)
10/24/2017 Priority Date
11/14/2017 Request for Initial Evidence
11/16/2017 Biometrics done
11/22/2017 Requested evidence send
12/29/2017 Letter of approval for EAD combo card
01/01/2018 EAD combo card in hand

We are in Texas and our case went to the National Benefits Center in MO
We were so lucky and blessed to have our case approved in such short period of time
Day 70 and already have my combo card.
I already applied for my Social Security Card

Just be patient and pay very close attention to to the documents and forms you have to send.

God bless you all and good luck with your cases.

I-485 USC marriage based
Hi everyone.

Hope y’all good.

It’s been 132 days and still haven’t got my EAD. I talked to level 2 officer today and he said my case is still in normal processing and I’m shocked and I asked 5 months in normal !!!! And also he said they haven’t even touched my case yet :( I’m gonna apply for my college and I need the EAD as soon as possible. I even contacted my congresswoman and they said they will get back to me within 30 days. I tried everything I swear and nothing was helpful so far.
My office is NBC and I applied from Orlando,FL.
Any aug filer??

I got aproved
Hi guys, I just want to share my experience. I have been posting in previous posts that I created and now is time to provide the full timeline, cause I my case reached to the end, at least about the EAD and AP aproval.

Here is the timeline:

October 2, USCIS Received my documents for AOS Pack. I sent it to Chicago Lockbox.
October 10, NOA from USCIS to confirm they received my AOS Pack.
November 9 I did biometrics
December 8 I got notification letter for Interview regarding my AOS. I have interview for Mid January 2018. I got this letter notification before EAD and AP been aproved.
December 26 I got notification letter to inform to me, EAD and AP has been aproved.

I am still waiting for the EAD and AP combo card to arrived to mailbox. I should be getting it before the end of this week, cause generally this takes not more than 7 to 10 days after been aproved.

In total my case was 85 days. I found out that is really quick, compare with other cases, that has been 120 days waiting. So I am lucky and thanks to God that it was quick. Also helped me that I add all documents correctly, any evidences that they will need and also the state where i am, cause here where i am is not so much inmigration compare to other big cities like NY, Texas. I am in Portland, Maine.

My case was with MSC, National Benefit Center.

This forum was really helpful to me, to track and to get an exact idea about when I will be getting aproved. I have been reading every day, this forum, also I was checking visa journey, where they gave me a timeline, that was almost exact.

I wish to all of you a lot of luck and dont get desperate, God will help you to get your cases aprove. Just have hope and be patient.

Now I am just going for the next milestone, the interview for mid january 2018. I hope that with a lit bit of luck can get aprove the same day :).

Cheers.!

EAD with AP (c)9 timeline
This forum has been so helpful for me, thought I would share my timeline and message of hope for folks:

Marriage-based AOS, Filed I-765, I-131, I-485, I-130 concurrently.
Receipt at MSC: September 11
Fingerprint appointment: October 3
Filed SR online: November 27
Obtained combo card in the mail during the holiday break, sometime between December 22 and 29.

Note: My case status online was never updated, it still says my SR is not assigned for processing. I never got a notification for "case approved" or "card being produced" or anything like that. I only had the nice surprise of getting the card in the mail.

Interestingly, my AP was approved even though I had traveled abroad after time of filing (on H1B status) - so they did not adhere strictly to the rule.
