Got My EAD card
I'm from Houston Texas and it took me 69 days after USCIS got my paperwork to receive EAD card in hand. No update or email or notice whatsoever on USCIS app, Check my case USCIS or any checking system and see nothing. I got my card in the mail today and the system is still showing the "case was received". So I hope that you guys can get some news soon, even without the notice from USCIS. I got a question for you that can I go ahead and apply for Driver license of Texas before applying for SSN? I will bring my EAD card and PP and Paperwork to apply for DL, but will it work without SSN? or it will require SSN for DL? I know it take only 2 weeks for SSN arrive but right now is the holiday season so I will get the delay until next year, so I want to go ahead and get my DL 1st. Hi, I went to infopass today, they told me that my case is already assigned to an officer, what does that mean? That the background check is done? Or how long its gonna take? C09; nbc; p.d. July 31st, no rfe.

EAD - L2 visa - new
This is an update of one of my previous posts.
My EAD request has been approved on day 91!
My request has been approved without biometrics.
EAD request was new and grounded on my husband's L1 Visa. I am L2.
08/30/2017: PD for EAD i-765 received by Texas Office Aug 30, 2017.
09/02/2017: Received SMS and mail informing that my documents were being sent to Vermont USCIS Office.
09/10/2017: Written Note of receipt from USCIS received in the mailbox.
Since then, no request for biometrics.
11/16/2017 - On day 76 raised request on-line asking why I had received no invitation for biometrics nor other updates
11/22/2017 - USCIS Vermont answers to my on-line request: case has been assigned to an officer but they cannot predict processing times.
12/05/2017 - USCIS online update: "On day 12/1/2017 we have requested a new card for your EAD request"
12/06/2017 - USCIS online update: "We have sent you the approval notice and the EAD"
12/07/2017 - The approval notice is in my mailbox (date stamp 12/4/2017 ). I am now waiting for my card, which has been sent separately.
List of documents submitted:
· USCIS Filing Fee of $410 - Bank check
· Form G-1145
· Form I-765
· Copy of passport (self and spouse)
· Copy of US visa (self – L2 visa and spouse – L1 visa)
· Copy of I-94 (self and spouse)
· Copy of I-94 travel history (self and spouse)
· Copy of marriage certificate
· English translation of marriage certificate
· Two (2) photographs (self)
I accompanied the documents with a cover letter listing the documents sent.

EAD approved 90 days ago - card not sent yet
Hi all,
I am on an E-1 Spouse visa and my current EAD expires in 3 weeks. Afterwards, the employer will put me on an unpaid leave. Is there anything else I can do at this point (see below for what I tried)? Thanks!
07/05: Vermont Service Center (VSC) receives EAD renewal application.
09/11: VSC approves the application, sends I-797.
09/25 (received 9/30): VSC sends letter asking to resubmit photos as they "do not meet quality photo standards".
10/07: Photos delivered to VSC according to USPS.
11/09: Filed SR on USCIS website for "Non-Delivery of Card".
11/15 (received 11/24): VSC responds with a similar answer about photos not meeting quality standards (without mentioning the new photos).
11/27: Called NSC and filed SR with level II officer.
11/28: InfoPass appointment, officer printed response for 11/27 SR - “your file was forwarded to an offsite storage facility … allow up to 60 days”. Officer also sent new photos I brought to VSC.
11/28: Case status online changes to "New Card Is Being Produced".
12/05: Called NSC, level II officer says that the case is pending review and that my employer should use E-Verify (false!).
12/06: InfoPass appointment. Officer confirmed that the case is pending review and that the card is not being produced. Officer requested to expedite. Contacted my congressman.

MNC/NBC file received by USCIS on 17 July and still waiting
Hi Everyone! Is there anyone who is still waiting for the EAD from July period?
My documents were received by NBC on July 17 and I raised 3 service requests so far and no answer and also contacted the congressman office about almost 3 weeks ago and they said they didn’t receive an answer yet either...I am so frustrated with this entire process and I don’t understand why nobody is answering...I spoke couple of times with the L2 officers and nothing one of them raised the 3rd SR 30 days ago and no response...I have an info pass tomorrow at the local USCIS but I think I am going there and nothing will happen :( any advice from anyone? Are still there peoples waiting form July from MNC/NBC Center?

My PD is 8/16, and after the third SR (11/27), which was over the phone, I received a response in email just now:
"Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly."
Based on previous experiences, does this mean that my EAD would be approved soon-ish? Thanks!

EAD experience (marriage-based application)
Since I have been keeping up with this forum since my green card application, I thought I should share my experience as well. Things went rather smoothly for me, so know that this is possible as well.
I applied for a marriage based green card, along with adjustment of status from H-1B
Here's my timeline:
08/31/17 (day 1) - Application received
09/15/17 (day 16) - Biometrics appointment letter recvd (for 9/28)
09/21/17 (day 22) - Biometrics complete (did an early walk-in)
11/14/17 (day 75) - Made service request for I-765. (USCIS response: USCIS will review and process the request. Expect a reply by December 6, 2017) I am not sure whether this specifically helped my case, but I would suggest everyone to do it anyway.
12/01/17 (day 92) - I-765 approval notice
12/04/17 (day 95) - received the EAD card in the mail
I am now waiting for the GC interview. The approval notice said I can request for change of employers only 180 days after my I-485 is pending. Has anyone done a change of employer after they received their EAD but still had pending GC application? Your experience would be appreciated.
