EAD taking too long
Application received 06/03/2017.. c8 EAD renewal. Nebraska Service center. I'm on 200 days, raised service request twice and both time the response is "its a line to be reviewed''. I'm starting to feel anxious. My last hope is going the congressman/senator route. Any suggestion, on how to go about this? Thanks and good luck everyone.

Case was assigned to an officer for a response
My 2nd request for my WAS was finally assigned to an officer on December 12 and then the date changed to was assigned on December 13, but haven't got a response until now, my PD is Aug 7, it's been over 130 days and it's very frustrating, how long should I wait until I call them back?

I am waiting on my husband's EAD and SS# through a pending I-485. He came here on a K-1 visa. He did his biometrics in July and and there has been no update on the site. It's been over 150 days. We have done several service requests and I even contacted my senator but there has been no helpful response. They only say it is still "under review". It has been really tough because he can't get a job or apply to school. It's like our life has reached a halt. Your stories here help me realize I am not alone, and for those that got their EAD I am happy for you. If anyone can help in any way, please let me know.

These days only your experiences help, no more help from anywhere. On Nov 22 my name was updated, I thought I would get answer soon after this update, so far no change, no good news. My everything is going down, totally mess up. It's very sad to cross December, the last days hopeless since April 14, 2017 (my case was received). No sign of EAD, currently day 130
I sent in my package of I-765, AOS I-485 and I-131 about the same time and my I-765 was received on August 10th 2017. My NOA1 for I-765 was on August 14th.
I've called USCIS several times and a service request was placed a few weeks ago (I'm supposed to call again on Dec 21st since it's been exactly 30 days on that day) and no updates at all. I get that Denver seems to be way busier than other cities in other states but 130 days and no sign of any updates whatsoever?? I've run out of my savings and my husband and I get in arguments often regarding finances. My situation is terrible and I NEED to be able to work asap, this is so discouraging. No further evidence requested, it's just been quiet. I don't know what to do...
My I-131 was approved on Oct 30 but I haven't received any travel permit card so I still can't travel even though I'm technically approved for it!! This is so incredibly frustrating :(

Got my EAD + Travel Visa within 80 days
Hey everyone. Just wanted to share my experience also.
I sent all my papers in september the 14. i765, i485, i131. Through Marriage.
I really needed to get my papers approved before december then 18 because i am travelling to europe for Christmas.
So i kept calling about every 3-4 days. Always getting the same answer, that i have to wait.
I went to the congressmen twice after about 60 days to try to speed up the prosess. None of them could give me any answers, and they just said wait.
I also had to resend some of the papers, because my sponsor wasnt making enough money, so we had to send in another " request of evidence " for a joint sponsor.
Checked my status online everyday, and i never changed from the first day the recieved my papers.
Been saying " we have recived your applicant , bla bla "
December the 5th i checked my mailbox, and boom. There my Combo card was in the mail.
It is now december the 16, and my status online still says pending. About 3 weeks after they produced and sent my card, they still havent updated their online status of my case.
So don't worry, they are really damn bad at updating their online status. I feel my case was a christmas miracle.

Hey all
Need some serious help!

Finally received my EAD
After 186 days of waiting my EAD card is finally here. I checked my case status on the USCIS website and they haven’t update anything.

Second SR November 15 received a response saying “On November 17, 2017, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number Txxxxxxxxx, was completed”
Nov 30 mailed a letter to congress to assist with my case and until now I haven’t heard anything from him.
December 14 received I-797 that my EAD was approved
Today Dec15 my lawyer called me to pick up my EAD card!

Went to my congressman's office to file an expedite request with job offer: 12/7
In between the second and third SR I wrote to my senator and another congressman, both of whom did not respond. It is only the third congressman's office who actually asked me to come in and talk about my case.
I received the NOA approval letter today for my EAD and AP, and was told by the congressman's office that my expedite request was approved. Still nothing online, though. Any idea when does the card usually arrive after the NOA? Thanks guys.
And also, thank you to all of you on this forum for sharing your experiences and providing feedback to inquiries. You guys made this so much more bearable. Good luck!
