I called USCIS regarding my ead, and I was given a confirmation number. Why does that mean? Has anyone ever done this before ? How long did you hear from them ?

Nebraska EAD based on pending I485 c9
Hi, I would like to share my experience with you guys for my long EAD journey.
7/10/2017: I-140 was concurrently filed with I-485 along with I-765 and I-131 for all of my family members (category: EB2-NIW) and they were received by Nebraska office.
8/30/2017: fingerprint appointment
10/6/2017 (88th days): My daughter's AP was approved and I didn't apply for her EAD.
12/12/2017 (155th days): Mine and my wife's EAD were approved.
While I have been waiting, I've requested 3 SRs for my EAD and 2 SRs for my wife's case. I also contacted congresswoman in my area but no response from her.
IMO, SR and congressman don't matter for EAD approval unless you are in extremely difficult condition and you have official evidence for that. Just time does matter.
I kept tracking other guy's cases using the case tracker app. It seemed like USCIS split their work by certain amount of cases, making them into a small group of cases. And just one officer is working on the small group of cases. So, no matter when your receipt date is and no matter what the current processing time for the specific USCIS office is, your case will be in the line in certain way. So, some guys get sooner and some guys get later even though theirs were received on same date.
Anyway, long story short, we are restricted by time. Only god knows the when.

VSC.. Currently processing for August,2016?
This is what a L2 officer mentioned me looking at the website for processing times, which I can myself read.
That sounds dumb..even after mentioning that few days earlier it was showing July 1. 2017 in that category and this is probably a error, officer was not ready to respond. Says.."its a long wait".

EAD Renewal Based On C9 pending asylum
Please do help me since i'm very confused and i have no idea what i should do.
Here is my case outline. Case received 06/3/17, Nebrasak office (NSC). No update as of today.
I called 3 weeks ago and put in SR, got an email last week saying my case is inline to be reviewed. and i should wait up to 60 days to hear anything from them and after that to ask again. USCIS NSC is processing ead filled as of july 1st but mine was there since june 3rd. Should i be worried or just wait. Any suggestion is much appreciated, please do let me know if you have same problem.

New L2 EAD application
On Nov 29, 2017, i contacted congressman's office (forwarded all the documents with privacy release form) to expedite my case as i got the job offer letter. I have not heard anything from them until today. today i contacted them again and surprisingly i get to know that they have not received my email and documents too. As each day is passing, i am losing hope to get my EAD in this year.

I765 processing date updated for NBC
Last month, I765 processing dates jumped 2 months to show september 15 on the site raising many concerns. Looks like USCIS realized it now and made an update to show the real dates. Its now showing July 1, 2017..

Congress person
I contacted congress person for help a week ago. However they have not yet made contact with USICS. Is it normal that it takes them this long before they reach out to USCIS?

L2 EAD Renewed Card with Old exipry date
Hi All,
I have a problem.I got my renewed EAD card with a expiry date 12/24/2017 same as my previous card expiry date.My Primary L1 and L2 got renewed till 12/24/2019.
While submitting for Renewal of EAD I submitted my previous I-94 and they din't check my latest status and gave card with old expiry date.I'm not sure if its an error on USCIS.
Did someone face this issue?Can some one advice me what to so
