I attended interview on 7th november at 11.45am.The interview transcripts is as below:
COUNTER 3:
VO: purpose of going to US.
ME: Employment and explore my career opp.
VO: show me ur I-729,I-129 papers
ME: showed the concerned documents
VO: to whom u r going to work in US
ME: xxxx client
VO:show me the exp certificate
ME:i gave my exp certificate.she went to the other officer and showed my exp letter and came back.
VO :show me ur university certificates
ME : I showed her my BCA and PG MS(IT) certificates.Again she took my PG certificate and showed to other VO officers.They dicussed and she came back.She told me that its not a PG degree it only a program we are not considering it.So You have only 15yrs of education(required 16yrs) and that too you have only 1½ yr exp (required 3 yrs).
VO : Sorry sir we connot issue VISA as u r not eligible.We will send back ur case to USCIS.
ME : Thank you.
This is what happened at the time of interview.So please advise me what i have to do now.I am in dilemma.

Hi,
This was really helpful. We got h1/h4 visa on 8th Nov. It was hardly 5 min discussion.
Just asked which company I will be working,what will be the pay, and which project I will be working and why leaving present job
that's all.

Regarding Passport Issue

This site is very helpfull. Thanks for all. This is praja. I have an appointment with consulate in December. I am recently married and I wish to enter my spouse name into my passport. For entering of my spouse name into my passport they (Passport Officer) are issuing a new passport which contains old passport details and also they will return my old passport. But I booked the slot with old passport. Now my question is will this cause any issues in the stamping process? Please let me know the solution for my problem.

H1B stamping - Chennai
I got my H1B stamping on 3rd Nov. I am having 7 years IT exp. in top Indian IT consulting company. Had travelled to US multiple times earlier on L1 and B1 visas but never on H1. Switched to a body shopper company and first time I went for H1 stamping thru a body shopper petetioner.
Step1: VO asked me to show the proof of current IT experience like offer letter, experience letter, recent 3 pay stubs. Please note that I have multiple L1 and B1 stampings with the current employer yet VO wants the proof that I have experience without any break in between.
Step2: VO checked the body shopper company's credntials by seraching google, IRS web site etc
Step3: Interview questions:
1) Why r u leaving top IT company and swtiching to body shopper company?
2) Do know the client to whom you will be working, your project location and details
Answered above questions and requested to pay the visa fee. She asked the 1040 and he doesnt have it handy. She asked the I129 documents and he said his attorney only sent I-797. H4 extension
Hi friends,
My name is neelima and I'm on H4 visa . We'r on 7th yr extension and in ignorance we din't know that along with my husbands H1 my H4 shud also be extended. Hi Everybody,
I have attended my interview on 3rd oct.
My case was kept under administrative process.There was no interview.They have collected my file and asked me to wait.After 7 hrs of waiting they said "we have to verify whether ur petitioner can provide you the employment or not.If he can provide we will get back you"
Did anybody of you expierience the same situation.Can anybody tell me what this adninstrative process is like and what is the verification they will do.
Kindly mail me if anybody of you knew anything about thi case.

good company profile but Gave 221g
Hello Guys, I have recently attended H1B interview in London. I have done my B.Tech in IT and Masters in Comp & Network Engg.
My Company profile is very good...It is having 400 Employees and $36 million turnover.
Here is my interview.
Me: Hi, How r u today?
VO: Smiles...Fine, Thanks
VO: How long have u been in UK?
Me: Since Sept 2004
VO: How do u know the company?
Me: I have gone through the Job search www.dice.com
VO: When did u finished ur Masters?
Me: Oct 2005
VO: Can I have ur Bachelors Degree?
Me: I passed the degree.
VO: I think this is done in India. Isnt it?
Me: Yes
VO: As it was done in India, We have no way of verifying your Bachelors degree. Now you have 2 options. Continuie the additional processing with London or goto India and apply there again.
Me: How long will it take If I wish continue the processing in London?
VO: It will take around 6 months.
Me: Alright, I will goto India and apply from there.
VO: gave me 221g and written in that as "Apply in India" Also she put a "reference no" on the top of 221g. And told me to give that reference no to visa officer when I apply in India. she told me tht she put a note in that reference tht I'm a Masters degree holder from xxxx university and that degree is genuine.

Now, Can I goto Embassy in Delhi? previously I have been refused F1 in chennai in 2003 and since I'm away from India since 14 months, am I eligible to attend H1B in Delhi?
