Hi All,
I had been to chennai consulate 20th Oct.
My employer was not in a position to provide the client details instead he provided me list of his clients and their contact details and metioning it is not possible to provide client details unless I enter US as he is not in a position to enter into contract with his clients.
Consulate knows how these contracting companies work. He said I do not trust you employer and he needs letter from the client side stating that they intend to hire me.
"Unless there is a job waiting for you in US I can not issue you an VISA. You prove me that I will issue you an VISA." this is what he told me.
The explanation he gave was that they are receiving complaints that these companies are taking to US and they are unable to place them in project and they dont pay you unless you are in a project and He didnt wanted me to face the same situation.
Finaly he gave me 221 g asking me to come with an invitation letter from END CLIENT. This happened to almost 7-8 people infront of me and probably to others behind me on that day.
Make sure you have an invitation letter from the client before you visit again.

DS 156 form
Hi all,
Under the new VFS system is it mandatory to use the DS 156 form filled during the appointment time. I missed to enter one information while taking appointment and now only i realised it. can i download the form and then fil it once again from the consulate site

Hi Guys,
My Visa interview has gone like this.
ME:Hi, Good evening.
VO:No Response.
VO:Asked me to give the cover given to me where all my documents were placed.
ME:Given all the Documents, like,DS-158,DS-157,I-797,I-129 and my responsibilites in the organisation.
VO:What ur going to do for this XYZ Company.
ME:Same story .....
VO:Whats ur higest qualification?
ME:M.Tesh (IT), Asked for the Marksheet.
VO:Whats ur Bachelor Degree?
ME:B.tech but not in Computer science.
VO:How many courses u have in ur Bacholer Design.
ME:Only One.
VO:Can i see ur Experience Letters?
ME:Gave all the Experience letters.She verified and gave them back to me.
VO:What ur doing in Current Company?
ME:I have explained my role in the Present company.
Thats it, she gave a Greenish paper asking for more details of the company which i am going to join them in USA.
I dont find any reason why actually they have given this for me. Anyway i have informed to my employer, he told me that he is going to provide me all the details requested by the Consulate.
if any one has gone after 221(g) let me know, how the process is being done!

Is it mandatory to have my name on my spouse passport for her h4?. How ever, If I produce marriage certificate and photos(vedio) is not sufficient for H4?.
Kindly reply for this as I have an appointment on 27th.

H4 Rejection - 15 days bench 221(g)
Hi Everyone,
I hope this is a different case, if any of you faced this kind of problem please do reply.
1) H4 (Wife and Kid) has been refused saying there is no payslip for initial 15 days after i landed in USA.
2) Because that is my bench period.
3) Asked for notary letter stating why i did not earn salary for first 15 days.
How to prepare the letter for those 15 days (1st Aug to 15 Aug).

ME: Applied over internet. www.dice.com. I wrote down the site name on a paper as she asked me to do so.
Q3: Pass on your Degrees ?
ME: I gave my MS Computing degree from UK. she asked for UG. I passed on my UG , PG DIPLOMA .
She tried to peel off university seal on my MS degree to reveal(seems like). She gone through the degree and asked 'You are on STUDENT VISA'
ME: Yes! i'm
She wants to investigate my educational degrees and company(U.S) and going to write at my address.
she asked ' you want to withdraw your application or process'?
ME: I like to process with your consulate in LONDON.
ME: Thank you.
Hopefully they will get back soon...
