For each form submission, he has gone inside and talked to some body and come back.again same..
Finally he said that, my application needs futher processing and they will let me know the details soon and gave me my passport back .he kept the above Doc.s with him only..
He didn't asked me much questions.
For my counter, he has given 221-g for most of the guys!!

Successfull H1B stamping at chennai
Dear Friends,

I had a successfull H1B stamping at chennai consulate on 17th OCT 2005.

It was my day. Infact it was a sheer luck that I got through. Believe me I did not had any Project or Client details.

The lady officer just asked me about a few general questions about the company, My Role, Degree certificate, experience etc.

The interview was around just 7 to 8 minutes thats it.

But they are too concerned about the project and client details. I had all the documents but I was not having any Project & client details.

I saw many of them being refused visa in front of me.

I can just say in my case it was a matter of sheer luck.

221(g) Experience, Please help
I am from Hyderabad working in KL past 2 years. I have attended US Embassy, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 17th Oct. My appointment was at 8 am waited for my turn.
Finally got my number displayed on the board at 9 45 am. When I wished her in the first instance she told me that they cannot issue the visa since I have a Non Technical Degree.
I told her clearly that I have MBA with PG Diploma in Computers and 6 years of exp in IT. I tried to convince her, Then she asked me few questions on Present experience and also about US employer. I said everything.
Finally she said they cannot issue visa to me on that particular H1 papers since I am a Non-technical.
She took all my ORIGINAL EDUCATIONAL CERTIFICATES – MBA,DEGREE,TECHNICAL CERTIFICATES, PAY SLIPS, EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATE and all H1 ORIGINAL and said they need it for further processing.

Please help me and let me know if any one faced the same problem.
Will there be any problem, how much time they will take to return my certificates and any chances of visa.

Thanks in advance..

Pasha

RFE on h1b - CSC
Hi guys,

When i checked for status of my h1b online it says like
"we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed".

I came to know that this is called RFE (request for Evidence) . Is any one sailing in the same boat or experienced the same post your experiences.

221(g) More updates : Format of the letter that i carried
Hi All

I posted my H1B visa interview experience last week and there were lot of emails asking for the letter that i carried for the 2nd attempt inorder to face the 221(g) query. Am pasting the format of the letter given by my employer explaining the client info. If possible try to get letter from your client as well apart from getting one from your employer. For me the letter from employer stating the client details made the trick. But VO asked if i have a letter from my client. I said NO but still he granted the visa.

Please go through the below format.

Before you read the below letter please under the below terminology that i have used

Consultant/Employer - Represents the company who filed H1
Client - Represents company in which i will be working

Letter starts below

20, Ventura Blvd,

The project involves taking care of regression test bed in the development test unit. Strong proficiency in C language and a strong understanding in layer 2 and layer 3
protocols is required. Emphasis on OSPF, BGP, RIP, MPLS, VPN and QOS. Scripting has to be performed using C and test suites will need to be run to identify script failures and router failures. .....................................

Hai All,
I have attended for H1B on 17th Oct in Chennai.

Interview went very cool initially.
As I did My masters and Bachelors in Computer Science, I have not faced any problem related to studies.
At last She asked about my project and Clients.
Then She asked any letter from Client or Employer about Project, Duration, etc...
I said No
At last she issues query sheet and ticked on "Employment for next 12 months, project name, duration, Nature of the project, client name, client contract information" check box.

So, friends this is my experience..

Best of Luck to all

H1 B Rejection
Be aware of the position that was offered by the US company, I was offered the System Analyst position with four and half years exp, The VO tols that, As i do not hold a degree in Computer Science (or) as i do not have a masters degree (or) as i do not have more than 6 years exp. I am not sutable to perform the duties as a System Analyst, I will much fit in as a Software Engineer.

Tough i am working for a Top MNC for the last 3 years, it is the case. Pls. see that those who do not have a computer science degree (or) with less exp, get designations like Program Analyst (or) Software Engineer..

The person before me, is having two years exp and 4 months real time exp got teh visa, as he will be working as a Programmer in US...
