Visa Documents needed from employer
Hi Friends,
My H1B has been approved 2 days back.I am a regular reader of this forum and found it very helpful. For some time , I happened to see lot of posts like they got 221(g) in Visa interview mainly because of Client and Project Details.

In this regard , it would be great if anyone of you could give a LIST of Documents we must get from the Employer to avoid 221(g)

Please help me in this.

Senior members please give me your input on this.

Thanks and Regards

Hi Murali,

I have recently attended for my H1B visa interview but the officer gave me 221(g). That is need more docs from the employer like client details, no of employees at each client etc.

There were few indians infromt of me in the Q which also had the same problem as me.

I suggest you go as soon as possible because even if the office says Admin review, it might take upto 1-2 months to get the result.

Regards,
srinivas

Hi Murali,

Thanks for the reply. In Some cases they have redirected them to India even when they have more than 6 months of working exp in Sing. Some of the cases where put on hold i.e they say they need time for veryfying the docs and there are couple of candidates who have not been given an answer for more than a month.Do u know on what basis the H1's are either put on hold or redirected ?
Have u gone for stamping in Sing or do u know anyone who has got stamping after oct 05 in Sing?

Thanks in Advance
Arun

Stamping in Singapore US embassy.
Hi Arun,

As far i heard, you can go for stamping in Singapore US embassy,if you had been there for more than 6 months.Do you mean rejections or redirections?. If rejected what was the reason given, then it we can analyse the situation.

Best of luck.
Murali.

Successful stamping of H1B after 2 221g's
I had my appointment on 28th September. Interview was cool, but the visa officer wanted my pay slips for the previous one year whereas i had only for the last 4 months. So, she issued me a 221g. I again appeared on 5th October with the details.

Was asked questions regarding my project and the list of clients of our company. So, got all this details again and appeared on 25th October. My visa got thru after 30 minutes of interview.

So people appearing for the interview dont panic if u happen to get a 221g. Keep cool.
Submit all the documents they ask for the next time you go. and as always BE CONFIDENT.

Good Luck.

Welcome to ask me any questions in case if any.
