Visa refusal 221(g)
Hi Everyone,
I am from Hyderabad, working in KL past 2 years. I have attended US Embassy, Kuala Lumpur on 17th Oct. My appointment was at 8 am waited for my turn.
Finally got the number displayed on the board at 9 45 am. The first question she shooted me that I am a Non Technical candidate and she said that I do not have IT background degree. Then I told her that I have a PG diploma in computers along with my MBA.
Then she asked me few questions on the US company background and about my experience I said everything.
Finally she said, they cannot issue visa to me on that particular H1 papers since I am a Non-technical.
Then took my ORIGINAL H1 and ORIGINAL MBA, DEGREE and all technical certificates.
she said she will call me and asked me to pick up the documents.
Pls help me and let me know if anyone faced the same problem... I mean did anyone also gave their ORIGINAL EDUCATIONAL CERTIFICATES....
Will there be any problem......

I am venkat.I am a BSC(Maths,Physics,Geology(about earth))graduate and have done a Post Graduation diploma in
computers from a recognized institute. i had nearly 7yrs. of real time experice in software field. I have a H1B interview with in a fewdays.Will my education be a proble for getting the visa? is it compulsary that we need Masters education for H1?

H4 Visa - Important
For H4 Visa

Hi!
1) Make sure u have the latest copy of passport of your spouse with the lastest I-94(most recent immigration stamp on the Visa on ur return to US)
2) Make sure the marriage certificate looks like a certificate and not just a piece of paper.
Also you must have the address and contact no.s of the place from where you got ur marriage certificate.
3) One should go for H4 visa only if they have minimum 3 months pay slips and w2 form(if you have)
4) Spouse's name should be there on your passport
5) few of the marriage photos and video(if you have)
6) read properly(word by word) what's being asked to bring in your appointment letter.
As US consulate dont work by emotions but work by Machines, hence what's being asked if not taken then they reject as they cant apply their brain becos that leads to sometimes improper decisions.(it's like bitwise 0 or 1)
One shouldnt blame them as it's our duty to produce whatever they are asking to, hence make sure, you think from every angle as to what else they might ask you to produce and be prepared for those, then no one can stop you in issuing visa and landing is US to meet your most loving spouse. :)

I attended stamping interview on october 1st week. I was refused visa first time and on my second attempt with the additional details i was able to get through the visa interviewr and got my visa stamped. Please go through the interview excerpts.
Interviewer : Can i see your degree certificate
Me : Yes sir.. ( I gave my BE CSE degree Cert)
Interviewer : Are you still working for ABC LTD
Me : Yes Sir.. ( I am working for a major indian service company and i have a valid L1 visa on my passport ...Interviewer saw that and asked this question)
Interviewer : Where are going to work in US?
Me : Los Angeles, CA
Interviewer : What work are you going to do
ME : Am going to work for our client XYZ
Asked to whom am going
Interviwer : Do you have a letter from client explaining the project/location/nature of work
ME : No .
I was refused Visa under 221(g) asking for additional evidence about the client and i was asked to come again with the letter from my employer.
I took a letter from my employer indicating the client / client project / client contact / client address / place of work and nature of project and duration of project
On my second attempt, i was asked to show this letter and i was granted visa immediately. Please tell the interviewer that you will be working for the employer who sponsored the H1B and dont mention about the client in case if you dont have the client information/client letter/details of the client project. This is a very important point. Almost 7 candidates who were standing in the queue had the same issue and they were refused visa under 221(g)

hi guys, i have my visa slot on 15th of nov month and i have a slot in delhi. would it effect in any way coz iam suppposed to go to chennai. did anyone apply in such a way and got through. please help me out so that i can change my slot.

it is been rejected and issued the 221g the reason
not having client info and client location and job descripation from employeer.
questions as below.
Con: as usual he asked the all questions and showed the documents.
finally he asked me to show the client details.
i told, i will be working for employeer not any client then issued the 221g
