221(g)-Project document not detailed
Hi,
I attended my visa interview in Feb'17 and I was issued a 221(g) asking me to submit a detailed project description document. Mine is a small company and is not so big on preparing advanced project documents. I submitted the required documents which my company had provided.
However, they have now replied to the 221(g) submission saying what was submitted was not a detailed document. Can anyone share a sample document which needs to be prepared by my company. I am not sure if my company has any more detailed docs to provide.
Any help would be highly appreciated Thanks in advance.

Can I carry my 2 and half years kid to interview at Chennai if she is a US citigen?

I have an appointment for H1 and my wife's H4 visas stamping at Chennai consulate office.
My daughter is bron in US. She does not need a VISA as she has US citizenship. She is 2 and half years old.
Please suggest me if I can I carry her to the interview at Chennai? Did anyone take their baby to the interview in recent times?

H1B, H4 extension interview on 7-Mar @ Kolkata
It was a piece of cake. Very simple questions:
VO asked only for Passport and I-797.
Question for me(H1):
1. How long have been with your employer?
2. What is your Job Title
3. What is your Salary ?
4. Who is your client?
5. Job location in US ?
Question for wife (H4):
1. When did you get married ?
2. Highest educational degree?
3. Do you have any work experience?
She (VO) looked at our 18 months old baby (US citizen), smiled and then said "Visa Approved".

Just wanted to share our H1B Stamping Experience at the Mumbai Consulate
I'm a H1B Petition holder with I-140 Approved and was eligible for Dropbox.
My Wife - also an H1B holder appearing for a Visa interview from her Petitioning Company - a US multi-national
My Dropbox Experience:
Feb 24 : Landed in Mumbai Early Morning, and Submitted I-797 copy, passport, 1 photograph the same day
Feb 27 : Status in CAEC - READY
Feb 28 : Status in CAEC - READY
Mar 01 : Status in CAEC - READY
Mar 02 : 10:00 AM Status in CAEC - READY
Mar 02 : 11:10 AM Status in CAEC - ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING
Mar 02 : Noon Status in CAEC - ISSUED
Collected the passport on March 05
My Wife's H1B Stamping experience:

One person ahead of my wife in the VO window claimed he was an actor and won't have a significant source of income in US . VO still gave him the approval cautioning him about his improper visa application class.

H1 and H4 visa interview experience
Hi Guys,
I have been a constant follower of this thread, though this was my 3rd visa interview, but because of all that is happening around just like all of you even I was worried.
Me and my wife thought at least a thousand times before planning our vacation to India and finally I am giving back to this society because I now understand the benefit of sharing and helping each other.
9th Feb - Fingerprinting
10th Feb - Visa interview (Hyd Consulate)
Interview was scheduled for 11:30 am and I reached at 10:30 am. Not many people were attending interview so literally I had no waiting time. I was in and out of consulate within 30 mins , which included passing through different checks and visa interview.
Me: Good morning Mam (Passed on the documents)
Vo: (Smiled back at us)
VO: Who is your employer? Oh you are working for xyz company.
VO: Are you an employee or contractor to xyz company?
Me: Answered.
VO: What is your current salary?
Me: Answered.
VO: Which state you are living?
Me: Answered.
(Question to my wife)
Vo: How many years of your marriage.
Wife: Answered.
(Back to me)
Vo: Have you read the pamplet....
Me: Yes
Vo: Your Visa is issued.
Like every one else in this group my status was also updated to "Admin Processing" after the interview.
Feb 11th and 12th were weekend
Feb 14th - H4 visa was issued but H1 status was still in Admin Processing.
Feb 22nd - H1 Visa was issued.
There were no issues at port of entry either, all questions asked were normal like what is the purpose of visit, where are going, etc.

Issued 221g Pannel Physician. HYD Consulate
Visa Date: 21st feb
VO gave 221g yellow form and asked me to contact their pannel physician in HYD and once embassy receives the document they will ask for passport in 2 weeks.
I got the doctors appointment the next week on 27th and finished all required tests on the same day and said that the documents will be sent to embassy directly in a weeks time.
Now it been a week since my medical test and I contacted the hospital and got mixed feedback, that they normally send the documents in 2-3 days and patient will not be informed unless there is additional required documents, and other advise was that patient will be informed before the documents are sent to embassy.
I never got any call or update from hospital/embassy.
Now, I'm Really confused and worried!!!!
Did anyone had been through medical exam referred by US consulate before and can you please advise me your experience.
I have my vacation to end in no more than two weeks. Please advise if I can contact anyone directly and get this resolved.

Premium processing query
Hello All,
I have my visa expiring in Sept 2017 and my employer files premium processing . So they will file extension for me by the end of July.
I saw this news https://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/uscis-will-temporarily-suspend-premium-processing-all-h-1b-petitions
Please confirm if this only applies to new H1B filing OR H1 transfers cap exempt, not to the H1B extension.
