Query related to H1B Amendment REF to Visa stamping
Hi,

   Greetings!!!.

I have applied for H1B Amendment & My amendment request gone for RFE and the additional docs yet to submitted to USCIS from my employer.

But I have booked Bio metrics and stamping Next week in Chennai consulate using my amendment receipt.

    Below are some of clarifications.

    1. Is there anyone completed the Visa stamping as same as my case in Chennai consulate?

    2. If yes is there any Visa denied or i221g notice given for the case like above.

    3. For my case is there any chance that VO can ask questions related to my amendment RFE?

I have checked with my friends circle and am not able to find the same case as my case. So only i just wanna check with you all.

if you can provide the information at the earliest it will be really great for me.

Thank you so much and please reply at the earliest

Hello All,

Apparently the Trump administration is planning to introduce a new travel ban next week. I am planning to travel to India for my H1 B visa stamping the same time . Should I be worried about my travel or stamping ?.

I know its a bit early to ask since the bill is not out yet. But is there any thought if it will impact Indians ? . Thanks

H1B stamping in Chennai
Thanks to everyone who had shared their experience which gave me confidence to travel to India as planned and not believe rumors.

Here is my experience in Chennai Consulate

OFC on Feb 15th
Interview on Feb 16th.

I have been working directly for my employer in the US for the past two years and appeared for interview as my status got changed from L1 to H1.

Questions asked.
1. Who is your client?
2. What is your US Salary?
3. What is your designation?
4. Where do you live in the US?
5. How long you have been working for this client?

My visa is approved and the interview got over in less than 3 mins. For the few mins i spent there standing in the queue, I couldn't see anyone getting questioned hard or getting rejected.

If everything is proper at your side, just be confident and don't believe in the rumors. All the very best for everyone :-)

Thanks.
