i went to consulate 45 min earlier, i had went to one of the consulate officer ( Looks indian !!)

Me : Design and develop of .......safety products.my role is......

V.O : What are the safety products?

V.O : Where it's used?

Me: yes, Client is YYYY ,location is YYYY.

Visa officer was checking my LCA job role description ( it says candidate can be placed in onsite/offshore for the project) and he was happy about it.

V.O : Did you read the pamphlet? ( the one sticking on the visa officers counter glass)

VO thrown one of the pamphlet to me and said it shows your rights if your employer not paying for your work. i said "ok" sir.
Finally he has given all of my petition papers and one of the HSBC receipt.
He kept the passport, BEP envelope & confirmation page then saying that passport will deliver in a week time.

Good Luck guys, Thanks to all who has posted all of their experiences.

H1b visa
I had my interview on April 1st, 2011 at Hyderabad consulate. I submitted by documents a week before for review at VFS center. In my interview visa offcier asked me
1) Which company do you work for?
2) Your Role?
3)in house or CLient?
4) Client letter.

That's it. He said my visa is approved. Please submit your docuemnts at VFS to advance documents submission a week before for them to review otherwise they will delay your visa. Be confident and take as many important documents as possible especially Employer letter to USCIS and Client letter if you are working offsite.

My case was EVC model

thank you and all the best
