I attended H1B Interview In Hyderabad on 15th April along with my wife and Kid(H4).
These are the questions I Faced
Me : Good Morning
Vo:Good Morning.
Vo:Give Me Ur Passport and DS forms
Me:Submitted the forms and Passport.
VO:Why are you Going to US?
Me: YYYY
Vo:Is it Client Project OR Internal Project?
Me:Internal Project
Vo:Can I see Ur Project Documentation?
Me:Given The Project Documentation
VO:checked for Few Minutes and typed Something in his System.
VO:Is This Ur first H1B?
Me:Yes
Vo:Have U been ever to US?
Me:No
Vo:Can I see Your educational Cetificates?
Me:Given The certifactes.Checked for few mnts and given back to me
Vo:Where are you Going In US?
Me:ZZZ
Vo:How many employees are there in UR US Company?
Me:xxx.
Vo:What Is Ur salary in US?
Me:ZZZ
Vo:can I see Ur LCA?
me:given.checked and gave back to me.
He did not ask single ques to my wife.
Finally Golden words came UR Visas are Approved and couriered within a week.
Be cool and Confident those who r attendind H1b .

I attended H1B interview today at Delhi Consulate.
Friends!! there is nothing to panic, if you have all documents and dont follow rumours.
Mine interview just went for 2 mins and visa got approved.

first i need to say Thank's to all that who posted there experiences in immihelp.com it helped me a lot for stamping...
I need to sahre my experience.......
I went to Us consulate at 8:30am in hyderabad my interview scheduled at 9:00am
checked my documents and asked me to sit in waiting room after 10 min they call me and said go to counter 6.

Getting a car loan is harder than ever in USA
Due to economic downturn it is very hard to get a new as well as used car loan. Last year was slightly better but this year they are asking for a co-signer from a family member presently staying in USA.
Get international driving license done from India
Negotiate with your employer in terms of initial down payment required for car loan. Having your own vehicle is mandatory in USA.
Also mobile phone from India just works fine. So get ur phone and once u get in here just add At&T prepaid card. That's another saving!
Plan ahead before u come here..coz situation is slightly different than previous years...
Do talk to reliable folks who are already working...

I have attended my interview on 23rd Mar 2009 at Chennai along with my dependents I have been given 221g stating your appl requires additional administrative processing and also kept original i797 with them. Can any one share their experiences and how long does it take to get the response from consulate. Thanks in advance!

I took hell lot of documents for the interview...but was not asked for any.
Following were the q's asked:
VO: Which Visa are u applying for
Me: H4
VO: whn did u get married
Me:
VO: whn did ur husband returb bck to US
Me:
VO: Where is ur husband working
Me:
VO: How long are u working or ur company
Me:
VO: will u be ressigning the job:

Am from Hyderabad.I have booked a slot in feb at chennai, due to some delay in getting the documents ive cancelled the interview.US consolate is newly opened at hyderabad. Do i have a chance to attend the interview at hyderabad or is there any restriction that i have to attend the interview at chennai only.

I attended visa interview for my H4 extension in hyderabad two days back (March 30, 2009):
VO: Where your husband working
Me: I told my husband employer name
VO: Who is Client and location
Me: I told my husband client name and work location.
VO: What is your home address in USA
Me: I told our home address in CA
VO: Who are all your neighbours
Me: I told we have 8 indian familes and all are software engineers and working for different companies.
Thats it, VO said my visa got approved and will get my passport in 4 to 5 business days.
I want share these Q & A with you if you have any questions post here.
