Successful stamping in chennai on 23 oct 07
It was only 2 mins interview.My appointment was at 9:00AM,i wnet by 8:00AM and went through the formal checkups and then for a finger scaning there was big line it me almost 20-30 mins for that.THen i was directed for the H1-B interview counter.There was 4 counters(3 lady VO and a gent VO).
Interview went like this.
VO: How r u doing?
Me: Good morning! Fine, How abt u?
VO: Good! How long u r working with xxx company?
Me : answered.
VO: wat is ur highest degree?
Me: Masters in Computer science.
VO: Wat is ur Project with YYY company/
Me Answered.
Tehn she typed something for 2mins and then GOOOOOOOD News...came in.
On the same day i collected the Passport.

I had interview schedule 11AM,But I went inside around 9:35AM and returned by 10:00AM. I really surprised to complete it so fast .. that tooo before the schedule..
I felt very happy and found very simple if you are having required docs, confidence, clarity while you talk to VO..

Got 221g blue handout
I have attended interview on 22nd Oct, VO gave me 22g blue form and asked me to submit all documents from my petitioner thru VFS Drop box and he was specific to not submit the passport. I will send those documents in one week.
I am very much worried. Why they didn't ask my passport? will they provide me visa?

Can anybody tell me that is there any difference between diffrent colors of 221 g forms.
If i got a yellow 221 g form and not asked to submit any docs what are mychances of getting visa?

H1B stamped after 221(g)
I attended H1b visa at Chennai in first week of Aug-07. Issued 221(g) and asked to submit passport while submitting other docs.
Last week of Sep-07 i submitted my docs (submitted only few among the requested). I ve no hopes of getting visa.
Week back i got h1b visa stamped. It came as a surprise.
So all the 221(g) holders.. u r still in the game with good hopes.

Yesterday I attended visa interview at Delhi...the lady said everything looks fine but she wants some more documents from my employer to verify the employment genuiness.
She said I don't have to drop my passport while dropping the required documents at window 5.
Please somebody tell me what are my chances of getting visa...how much time the whole process will take after I submit my documents.
Can I be hopeful although they have not asked for my passport.
Please help.

Paper sequence and folder .
Hi,
I am Following this form from past couple of month's now.Till now i have learnt alot from this form.I have taken an appointment for 25th oct.
