Visa exp at New Delhi consulate
Me and my wife went through interview at Delhi consulate. We got the evening slot at 2 pm. Some one had told us that normally at evening time less no of visa are issues compared to morning time. But anyway its not the case. We were hopeful and finally got it. Though I have already faced Visa officer while applying for my B1 visa but there was still some fear that nothing should go wrong. Here is how the interview went:

Me: Good after noon officer.
VO: Good after noon, Please give me your passport and papers.
I gave the papers in window.
VO: (after going through papers): How many employee works in this company.
Me: Mentioned the nos.
VO: (was bit shocked that it has less no of employee where as my current company is quite big): He questioned, I am confused why you want to leave this company and work in a small company?
Me: I have gone through co profile and its background. After checking every thing I found the company has good client which have good opportunity in my skills. Working for such client will enhance my learning and give me more advanced experience.
VO: (seems to be satisfied fm my reply): Whats the salary you will get there.
Me: I mentioned my package.
VO started working on his comp for few mins and then question my wife.
VO: How long you have been married to this gentleman?
Wife: Going to be 2 years.
VO: How both of you met?
Wife: Mentioned the medium.
VO: What you like most about this gentleman?
Wife: Family traditions, good job, good nature etc.
the conversation got a bit funny at this moment and I said that "I thought she will say she found me good looking" VO smiled and then again started working in his comp.
VO: Did you face any problem while your last visits in US?
Me: No. I had very comfortable stay.
And then golden words came from VO:

Ok Sir. I am issuing you Visa. you will get your passports by courier.
Me: Thanks a lot sir. Have nice day.

I would say same thing here. Be confident. In my case no doc was asked apart i-797.Even no i-129 form, no company letter, no offer letter etc. But keep all your doc with you. Be ready to reply typical questions like your US company details, project and client details. Why you want to join US company etc. Try to explain the things to VO confidentally rest would happen itself. Best of Luck...

H1B Visa - 221g Blue Form
Hi All,

Please help me with the following information urgently.

During my H1b interview at Chennai consulate on October 11th, I couldn't produce end client letter and hence was given a blue colour 221g form.

The VO asked me to submit few documents mentioned in the form in the drop box.

However, he told me not to submit the passport. I already have B1 stamped in my passport and travelled to US 3 times. Is there any reason that he mentioned not to submit passport but only the other requested documents?

Please consider this as very urgent and let me know the information

Thank you all
Sushma
